they showed doug free ot working out and hurd, the player looked like doug free, but could have been linebacker brooking, so not sure which,

talking wrs in draft

larry brown said the cowboys need a speed guy on wrs that defenses are afraid of, and can stretch the field, now i have been saying that for weeks

i want a speed burner like johnny know 4.34 in 40 or mike thomas,

only one wr has been selected all rookie, all pro, all nfc who is it and what years did he achieve each honor? trivia question

romo was lifting the medicine ball,

their going to give some coverage on crabtree wr,

video on endzone screens should be up in 30 days;

bigger screen a bigger longer progress

dia wall joins the show, she sees the new stadium coverage

installing control room for big screen top hi def stuff, all brand new nad top line

could resemble a tv station in control room

150 computers in the new stadium

have top notch editing capability, be there for 2 more months, and be there for first couple of ball games and shows the video staff putting in equipment

video board, started putting up colors, then do video in a little bit,

they will have it ready by first of june

george strait concert sold out

commercial draft proospects coming up next

phooey, cheerleaders stuff up now

ok back with wrs in draft

larry brown says he thinks they have a lot of work to do

havent heard much about craytong what his role is,

stanback is a make or break camp for him,
austin and roy williams must step up and fill shoes of T O

as many as 6 wrs in first round, crabtree, machlin, bey, harvin, nicks and britt

showed footage of those wrs, crabtree is a playmaker, but concerns about his ankle injury
maclin larry brown likes
bey, 4.25 in combine
harvin speed guy too but little slower at 4.41 i think
nicks, and britt with some what speed, big playmakers,

bobiske, might be there for cowboys, maybe

top tier wrs in this draft, the top 6 wrs, cowboys probalby cant get them

larrry brown says i would look for speed and a return guy, we need on badly larry said;
mike thomas first, very explosive, just make plays, thats what you have to get to larry brown says make plays
dillard, very productive, 42 1/2 vertical
tate cowboys have looked at or going to have him in for a visit
tate had 7 kickoffs for tds i think, but at least 7, larry brown said would be a good choice for cowboys in 4th round with his injury,

not to 5th round;
keeny mckinley south carolina, 4.5 speed
mike wallace, but to me a staright line speed guy,
quan cosby that we all know, larry brown says heart and soul of texas longhorns

johnnn knox, deon butler are 2 other wrs they mentioned, and im going on record keep your eye on johnny knox to me he will be a star in 2 years, if not his first year

he reminds me of a cross between terry glenn with speed though, and adjusting to the ball with tony hill in mind

Each year, millions of college, semi pro and international players train to play pro football in the United States. But, with only 32 teams in the league, and only 80 spots on each roster, the chances of them ever making it are slim. For those who have slipped through the cracks, this show is a second chance.

Join Hall of Famer Michael Irvin as he pits wide receivers vs. defensive backs in a grueling competition for a chance to win a spot on the roster of the Dallas Cowboys. If you're strong enough, fast enough, and ready to take your shot at glory, then download the application below or attend one of our open casting calls.

Wrong thread, they already have their 'candidates' and that guy lost me when he showed us pics of him knocking around some soccer players.

It appears Robieski is the guy on the radar although I don't see him dropping that far. I'd love to have him with our second pick although I think we need a WR with the quicks and speed.

With RW, Austin, Crayton, and Hurd we have a possession/speed WR, a speed WR who is also a possession WR, another possession WR in Hurd and a slot WR in Crayton. Stanback is most like a quicks WR but a Welker/Jackson is more like it. Holt could play that role somewhat as he can get in and out of routes so well. But he would hinder the young guys IMO.

I'd rather not go WR in the second.

Of all those 4th-6th round guys that they talked about, Mike Wallace is the one most likely to be taken by the Cowboys.

Dallas will not draft a WR under 200 pounds, imo. Wallace is 199. They would take him.

Where is Juaquin Iglesias? I guarantee you the Cowboys like him in the slot and at flanker, especially inside. He is a steal in round 3, and he might be there.

Look at what Wes Bunting says about Iglesias and Brian Robiskie:

#74 Jauaquin Iglesias:

"Demonstrates better short-area quickness than given credit for and is one of the best route runners in the class".

# 86 Brian Robiskie

"I don't know what all the hype is about. Best-case scenario. Robiskie is a number 2 WR with little upside".

No wonder the Jets are looking at Austin, because they may have to settle for Robiskie.

Iglesias could replace Crayton and give you depth at flanker.

Does anyone know if Iglesias returned punts at Oklahoma?

41, you will love this site.

Iglesias only had 5 punt returns in two seasons.

Didn't seem to be his thing.

Thanks. I was hoping he did. I'll check that site out.

Thanks again, DC Fanatic.

How about the Braves bullpen? lol When will they learn that those guys couldn't get Bart Simpson out? That was bloody terrible.

He's the son of a coach who has learned how to run routes. That is the one thing that will surely get you separation. It's also necessary for a QB to know where his WR will be to avoid turnovers. You don't have that then you don't have anything despite speed, athleticism, yada yada yada.

He's also projected to immediately contribute to a team as he needs no 'coaching up'.

That's what all the noise is about.

Now, do I believe all that? I believe what I said about basics. But it would be foolhearty to think you could predict success in the NFL. All they are doing is thinking less risk. Personally we don't really need another possession WR. JMO.
