This morning I heard WBAP radio sports and news presenters discussing the rumor that Tony Romo might make the Ring of Honor. and that Jimmy Johnson, Bill Bates, and even Danny White (who of course led the Cowboys to three consecutive NFC Championship games 1980–1982 but didn't win), and some others should make it looong before Romo does. As a result of this apparent discontinuity, both presenters said emphatically that they would - from now on - call it "The Jerry Jones Ring of Honor" NOT the Cowboys Ring of Honor due to Jerry's obvious bias.
Don't shoot the messenger but I thought they made their point and they weren't at all afraid to say it - several times on air and they weren't joking. I found their honesty refreshingly interesting. They also said that their feelings were nothing at all against Tony Romo himself, but that others were far more deserving due to their accomplishments.
