During post game of NFLN last night Heath Evans was asked about the Cowboys. While not a fan of the guy normally, he said everything that should have been said. Basically indicating that with the talent Dallas has, better coaches would make this team a serious contender. Plain and simple calling out the coaching staff. Usually coaches dont get called out on the carpet like that. Then on ESPN this morning Cris Carter basically doing the same thing. Saying our scheme on Defense is obsolete, doesnt work with personnel, also criticizing the use of our offense. All in all, our coaching staff is now being called out...Personnally I blame them, also JJ, but Garrett and the boys are horrible, 3-4 a year lost by just being out coached.... its just sad!!!

Funny that all these talking heads who never watch a complete Cowboy game blame it all on Romo yet when they are finally forced to watch a Monday night Cowboy game it's the coaches.

I would say that I agree with replacing the coaching staff; however, we need to overhaul our roster. Our defense needs major help.

It's not one or the other. Our coaching is piss poor, but our talent is certainly not up to par. With the shoddy defensive talent we have, it would take a defensive coordinator a lot more imaginative and creative than Kiffin to get results.

No excuses on offense though. The talent is there. The coaching is severely lacking.

First of all. If you watched him last night then you will know HE SPECIFICALLY SAID, AND I QUOTE: "THE PROBLEM IS NOT TONY ROMO AND THE PROBLEM IS NOT JASON GARRETT."

You guys always do the same thing, you cherry pick what suits your fancy.

If you listened to him, it was his contention that Garrett had been SADDLED with Kiffen. He DID blame it on the defensive staff. Get your information straight.

Don't bring facts around here. It clouds the loud and clear message of agendas.

Anyone have a link?

Maybe the players need to march into Jerry's office and let him know how bad kiffen actually is.

In all honesty though, i think the players are about as bad as you can have in the nfl anyway.

I listened to the entire thing, and I know how to listen carefully. I have to do it as a part of what I do for a living. Your information is flat out wrong. If you recorded it go back and listen to it. He talked about our coaching, put it on the DEFENSIVE staff. In fact talked about being able to hear what was in the bubble above Jason Garrett's head (using the analogy of conversations in a comic strip), and claimed it had to do with being saddled with Kiffen. Said it wasn't Romo and it wasn't Garrett's fault. You are just wrong.

While they are at it maybe they should let him know the GM sucks too...

Jerry already knows this. But he will not stop until he proves to the nation he can win doing it his way, without Jimmy. It kills him that Jimmy gets all the credit for those Superbowls and Jerry gets none.

Honestly, it's Heath Evans. Who cares?

I really don't care what Heath Evans says. But what I do care about is guys cherry picking information and relating it as fact. That was my only point. Heck, if I've learned anything around here it is the fact that people don't change their views 99.9% of the time. So I don't think it matters one way or the other.

If he said it or not should not be the point, the point is that the satement is absolutely correct, Garrett is awful and we would be a playoff team year in and year out with a good HC.
