I doubt we see Vander Esch the rest of the season.
** Misread Tweet **
Not Xavier. Antwaun.
Antwaun Woods, not Xavier Woods
I was quick to jump the gun on that
Thanks @OmerV and @Outlaw Heroes
Still looks like the whole middle of our defense is bare.... The 1 Tech DT, the MLB, and the SS is out..... Chicago may have a ball running through that portion of the field....
so the Hammer, the soft bully, and earl thomas 0.001 are out...the CBs will still play off 7 yards and allow every WR to run their clean crisp routes hoping that the QB makes unforced errors. And our interior DL will line up to allow for the RB to pick from 2 lanes on either side of the center.
edit. Thought it meant Xavier Woods. Regardless the run defense up the center is going to be open all day.
You mean, have a ball running up the middle like any other team we’ve faced ... even when these guys were healthy???
...so far its looking like Vander was a one hit wonder. *Video killed the radio star* ....
Big deal. It was the last game too. That's the defense, right up the gut.
We don't really have another run stuffing DT who can stand his ground. Woods is it.
And Darian Thompson is *bad*.
Saving him for the playoffs
Unfortunately, you may be right. I am holding out hope that he can be back for the last two games. Those are the most important.
If the team thought that there was a high probability that he would not play the rest of the year, I would think he would be on IR already.
We are going to get smoked Thursday night. I feel it in my tired old bones.
Starters up the middle of this defense all out. Looks like it'll be another big rushing day for the opponent.
Trubisky going for 350
Fortunately, we have Coach Richard who I hear is a genius.
So we’re going to have Thompson out there again?
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I miss Jeff Heath.
We’re going to get lit up by Mitch Trubisky, aren’t we ?
Yep. Gabriel is out for the Bears. So expect Robinson and two scrubs to light him up
Or, they put all their eggs in one basket to stop the run. It’ll work at first, then the Bears will adjust and we won’t. Then, we’ll get lit up by Mitch freakin’ Trubisky!
