Went several years ago. Great Time. I had cowboys gear on and my face painted with the star on it. Got a lot of stares tailgating and walking around - no one said anything though but that maybe because i was walking around with a large group of steelers fans (both my brothers are steelers fans) so I was generally accepted because of being in good company.

It was a november game and a night game - it was cold, and i mean a different kind of cold. Im from Philly so i am used to cold winters but it is real cold at that stadium and generally windy after October so make sure you are dressed right. I had layers of clothing on upper body but legs were practically frozen by end of game.

Inside the stadium was great. I had upper level seats but wandered down behind the cowboys bench to take pics before the game and no one ever came to check my ticket - lots of empty seats so i just sat down and watched the game from about 10 rows back. Was sitting in a section with some old heads, dudes were wearing leather helmets and steelers gear - the fans were cool, they thanked me for coming to their stadium to see the game. The steelers won at the end with defense after cowboys leading almost the whole game - they old guys just stood up and said "that's steeler football for ya" and shook my hand saying great game, come back again.

Overall was a really great experience.

Awesome man! I too am from Phila. My mom wants to take a road trip so Heinz is where we're probably going. My only complaint are ticket prices sheeeeeesh. Did you eat anywhere memorable? Thanks again

No. My bothers and a friend of theirs who is from Pittsburgh were all about the bar, so we were just bar hopping all night and the next day eating in the parking lot while tailgating. Cant remember the names of any bars we went to though, i wasn't paying that much attention since they knew where to go.
