Henderson, 5 other asst coaches for Cowboys to sign

Henderson has been on staff since arriving with Rob Ryan in 2012 and has worked for three defensive coordinators in his four seasons.

“We think a lot of him as a coach,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. “You look at how the corners played, but that’s not all of it, at all. He’s a good coach.”

The Cowboys also have not finalized contracts with safeties coach Joe Baker, defensive ends coach Ben Bloom, defensive assistant Turner West and offensive assistants Marc Colombo and Kevin Carberry, all of whom have expiring contracts.

Not true, the mediot had it wrong.

Cowboys are wanting him back but have agreed to allow him to leave if a DC or Head coaching opportunity arises.

Henderson has had zero contact with Miami.

Coaching MUST bear SOME responsibility for a 4 win season. If not Henderson, then churn elsewhere, especially on the offensive side: QB coach Wade Wilson and WR coach Derrick Dooley need to be called out first and foremost.

There must be consequences to the horrible results due to poor game planning, player development, game strategy and in-game adjustments. There need to be examples made throughout this coaching staff, a point must be made that 2015 results are completely unacceptable, injuries be damned.
