Henry to fs and then sign Sammuels as cb?

Just wanted to know what you guys thought about maybe getting samuels if the pats dont sign him like they have done with their stars in the past as starting cb to go with newman and moving henry to fs.

I think he's going to want too much money. And remember we have to extend TNew, who WILL be the highest paid CB on this team.

True tnew definately comes first and needs to be extended. but we are under the cap and i think we would be able to afford both newman and samuels and could you imagine the havoc they would bring to opposing offenses. wouldnt be a safe play to throw on either side. and with henry at fs we could use the draft pic on the o-line

Oh it would make a talented and underachieving secondary even better, but I don't think you understand what kind of money Samuel wants.

He wants Champ Bailey money. He got a new tat this season that states "Get Paid."

If we move Henry to FS, I see Glenn playing the 2 CB and a young guy being drafted. We MAY go get a vet CB in FA, but my plan would be play Glenn and Reeves/Jones at 3 while drafting a guy to bring along.

Samuels is a good corner, but his price may be a bit too much for us. We have A LOT of money tied up in the secondary as it is now. We could always draft a corner between rounds 1-3, and still draft someone along the OL. BTW, I heard the same thing about Samuels and his new tat. That is crazy!

Yeah that is definately a crazy tat. and i agree with you and the other post hes is going to be expensive. but if the thread i read was true and we are 21 and a half million under the cap and looking to get more cap room after we dump bledsoe. i think we could afford him. hey a guy can dream right lol
