I thought they both did a very good job.

I rate them even for tonight.

With Bledsoe third.

Henson looked ok......at times very eratic. Strong arm.

Romo showed more poise.....deep throw suspect.

I thought they both looked good...better than Bledsoe.

Romo had a nice game, good command.

Henson made good decisions and a few good throws.

all romo did was throw to a pro bowl tight end 3 times.
no outs and no slants.

they both looked better than I thought they would...Bledsoe looked bad, but he had no time...

I am already sick and tired of his patting the ball...

Well...in fairness to henson, he didn't have a top 3 te going against 2nd and 3rd teamers...

I thought if there was one thing where there was an outright winner, it was henson in poise. Romo was the leader during the -50 yard series, and he collapsed along with the offense. Henson looked calm and cool everytime he went to snap.

However, they both looked good....I hate bledsoe already :(

I agree with the poise, his arm is string beans compared to Hensons, but he doesn't get rattled like Bledsoe did.

Henson made a couple of throws I do not believe Romo could have made. That being said, Romo played well.

Ok guys thoughts?
I think the is no logical conclusions you can draw from the first preseason game with zero game planning from the coaching staff playing with a bunch of non starters going against a bunch of non starters.

If Romo and Henson had as much time as Bledsoe, they might have done even better. Bledsoe just seems to hold onto the ball too long.

Romo looked ok throwing to Witten. He had a couple high passes, one that Pierce snagged one-handed high in the air and one that could have easily been an INT, but considering the pressure he started getting after his first 5 passes, he didn't look too bad.

If you look at Hensons decisions he looked pretty good, but stat-wise not so much so unless compared to Bledsoe. I was impressed with a couple throws, especially stepping up in the pocket when pressured on one throw and a couple throw aways that could have easily been sacks. I have to go back and watch game tape, because some of those offensive linemen literally let defensive ends run by them untouched without a RB in to block. Like on his one sack, he faked a handoff and was grabbed and thrown to the ground before he could turn and throw the ball.

If this is how our offensive line is going to be this year, we are in trouble.

This post has "AGENDA" written all over it. What's a QB supposed to do when his ALL PRO TE is open, throw it to his FB? Gimme a f'in break. Romo played a good game, and made some nice throws. So did Henson. Don't downplay one guy's play just cuz you have some dumb*** agenda. If Romo is the better QB, he should get the backup job. PERIOD.

The numbers will not show it but Henson did good. He made some very good throws but he played smart and threw away a few passes when nothign was there.

Henson played better tonight then he has in any practice. I would like to see what Henson could do with WR and TEs that can get open.

After reading all the bad stuff about Henson in practices this game tonight has me alot more confident in him. To me this game was better for Henson since he struggled more in practice.

IMO Henson took some big steps forward. Hopefully this game is what really helps him take off and show us he is our man of the future.

Yep my sentiments too but add to that atrocious OL play for most of time, really only person I was kind of dissappointed by was Bledsoe. I really wanted to believe Bledsoe will not be doing that pat-pat-pat thing here that much, with BP on his back.

I was just begining to warm up to bledsoe being the starter all this year. Lets hope the OL gets good in real hurry. If not Cowboys are in real trouble. Hey on bright side, at least on first preseason game, they were much better than in previous years :D

Henson lacks confidence throwing the ball over the middle......making his throws eratic.

Bledsoe must have man love for the football........He doesn't want to let go of it........sets there in the pocket and pats it on the butt.
