So with all of the Elliott talk and how we arent taking him at 4 and how we dont want him in the division. What would the board do here if we drafted elliott just to trade him to Miami (who is looking for a RB) for their first and second pick. Keeps Elliott out of the division and nets us their 1st rounder and 2nd rounder. We would still get an impact player, at less cost, and an extra second rounder. Thoughts?

It would need to be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd points-wise = 1800 vs 1855.

I'd rather just draft Elliott and keep him unless they wanted to trade us a first in 2017. Miami should be pretty bad next year. Might put us in position to draft Myles Garrett.

Yes. Maybe their Number 1 this year, their 3rd round this year and their 2nd round next year.
We could use the 3rd round this year with our 2nd and move back up into the bottom of the first round.

Swap 1st, get a 2nd and 3rd this year, and They pick Elliot...I would not complain.
or a 1st next year, and their 2nd or 3rd this year, that would be fine too.

A fair trade would be Dallas' 1st for Miami's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Dallas' 1800 vs Miami's 1150+450+205 = 1805
Maybe Miami would want a 7th thrown in.

But I'd prefer not to trade down that far.

I don't have a problem trading down to #13 in this Draft if it nets us a 1st, 2nd and 3rd to be honest.
#13 still has solid Players and with those extra picks we could potentially add 5 or 6 new starters of
course if they've done their homework. I personally like starting Rookies....younger....fresher...and
usually out to prove themselves.

I would trade down to 13 for their first, 2nd and 3rd in a heartbeat, if Wentz and Ramsey are already off the board. I am assuming that they think Wentz and Ramsey are a franchise qb and a perennial all-pro.
The two extra picks could actually net you 3-4 starters before the end of the year, and a developmental QB.
