After the news of Philly pulling a Washington to get a QB here's what I would LIKE to see happen, although it probably won't:

Dallas trades down to 8 or 9, grabs a couple 2nd round picks this year and maybe one next year.

1st pick (8/9) - Elliot, RB (this kid looks the part and we could use a bell cow for the next 4-5 years)

2nd pick (34) - Robert Nckemdiche(SP?) Besides the kid getting into a little trouble this offseason, he's a stud DL

3rd pick (2nd round - Eli Apple or William Jackson (both CBs) - We need a guy who can play the slot so Byron Jones can focus on safety. That is counting on O-Scan being 100% and Mo Claiborne playing like I think he can).

4th pick (later 2nd round) - Noah Spence (DE) (if he's still on the board) or Jaylon Smith (OLB) Obviously we need help on the DL especially with D-Law failing a drug test and Sean Lee's health always a question mark.

Just my thoughts on the first few picks. Obviously everything could change, maybe we trade back intot he first round, or we don;t trade down at all.

You're right that it won't happen. Dropping from 4 to 8 or 9 is worth one second-round pick, no more than that.

I'd love for Tunsil to be there at 4 and the Giants to call and proceed to fleece them out of their 2ND & 3RD round picks
