I will admit that you Green Bay fans are generally the opposite of Eagles fans. I applaud you for that. Having said that, I hope the Cowboys crush your team and your media darling QB.

Quick story...My pseudo brother-in-law is a Green Bay fan that lives here in Texas. Back when Farve was the starter, he got injured and Rodgers came in and finished the game against the Cowboys. IIRC Green Bay won, but this guy kept saying that Rodgers throws like a girl. I guess it was the next year or so when Farve was gone and Rodgers took over. That entire off-season this guy was so butt hurt about Farve being gone that all he could do was talk about Rodgers throwing like a girl. Now every time we discuss football I ask him if Rodgers ever learned to quit throwing like a girl.

Your brother-in-law is an idiot. Without looking it up, as I recall we had that game comfortably in hand. When Favre got hurt, Rodgers came in and led the Packers back and almost won the game. Even though the Cowboys held on for the win, I knew that (unfortunately) Rodgers was going to be something special.

This game was in 2007. The 10-1 Packers against the 10-1 Cowboys. Romo vs. his idol Favre.

Cowboys came out and took a big lead and Favre got hurt. As you said Rodgers took over and almost won them the game. This game revealed 2 things at the time:

1. Rodgers was going to be a good QB
2. The Cowboys started showing bad habits and poor play that ultimately resulted in the loss to the Giants in the playoffs. And Wade Phillips did nothing about it.
