You're not off the hook that easy!.

Lets face it guys our Offense saved us today. But 90% of the times with that Defensive performance we would of lost.

I agree the D has a long way to go in improving before we can be considered a SB contender

Vick is scary. You never know which Vick you're going to get. Our D played a good game in the second half. We adjusted well.

There were a few breakdowns, but remember, the defense scored seven points, and one of the Faclons' TDs came when they started at our 12. Take that away, and the defense would have scored seven and allowed 21. I'd take that on most days -- your offense needs only 15 points itself to win. And we had four sacks and two turnovers (actually three, but we gave one right back).

Given up 93 points in 3weeks........has to be a concern.

Leave it to Adam to find a redeeming aspect to this horse manure effort. Hopeless.

"But they started one drive at the 12!"

So buckle down and give up a a FG, not a TD.

Teams are seeing something in our defense. That much is obvious. The teams have driven fairly consistently on us since the last half of the Giants' game.

Fortunately, we tightened up at the end of the game. But I think that had more to do with us moving the ball, and holding on to it...rather than the defense really MANNING up.

Last season, it was our defense saving our offense. I honestly cannot see where Henry is good at coverage. He can make INTs and tackles well most of the time, but he is always getting burned or is out of position. Even Keyshawn burned Henry against Carolina; we just got lucky that the ball was dropped. Whenever I see the ball thrown at Henry's side, I always get a bad feeling and think, "here we go again..." 9 times out of 10 this season, when the ball has been thrown his way deep, I end up shaking my head in dis-belief at the end of the play. Maybe we should have gone after Ty Law....

We can swallow some bad words towards our Defense ( moslty secondary)tonight but I'm sure they will come back next week.

Lets hope they get i together and bounce back. I know Williams and Henry have it in them.

There was very little pressure on Vick to rattle him, his nerves are second only to Bledsoe's

Seriously, we only had about 1 to 1 1/2 quarters of bad defense today.

That second quarter was atrocious.

The Saints game really told me alot about our Defense. IF they are good like we believe they are then they will rebound and be dominant again. If they are not then they will continue to fold.

We'll find out soon enough...Soon enough.

This defense is going to get us kicked out of the Playoffs pretty quickly if it doesn't change fast. Something has to change, and I think it's the coaches as much as the players. You can't go x amount of years without a 1st round draft pick on offense and only have this D to show for it.

I agree.

But some people were ready to jump off a building or something during the second quarter and beginning of the 3rd. We really didn't play that bad for the entire game like we did against the Saints.

Yeah, wide-open FB and TE plays in the end zone was scary. I keep wondering if there's any real coverage responsibility or is it just where the seam happens to be.

At least things improved at the end of the game.
