damn game on Sunday....

We lost to arguably the 2nd best team in the NFL next to the Colts on Turkey Day...and we dominated them - We ran an ASTOUNDING 33 More plays then them...Denver couldn't get a sniff for long stretches...We just didn't execute well enough on offense and we got beat by that crap OT NFL rule , that admittedly we benefited frOm against the Giants.

In order for us to win Sunday - we need a Terry Glenn resurgence - a deep ball resurgence and most importantly - Bill Parcells to outcoach Tom Coughlin...
Parcells got the extra time....and if you believe in him and his legend well then we win this game on Sunday...somehow someway - we pull this one out.

Lets go....enough of these "we could be 0-4" over the next 4 etc....
LETS GO!!!!:starspin

Anytime you toe the line and play every game this close you are going to win half and lose about half the time. That is just the way it works. We need to open up a can on New York early or I think it will be alot like the Philly game. I just don't know if we have another miracle game in us.

What we need is Crayton, he was the playmaker on 3rd down, we sorely miss him more than anything, and i truley believe we can go 5-0 down the strech, and it all starts this sunday.

We didn't dominate anybody. We ran the ball and threw 5 yard passes while Denver was actually trying to run a pro offense. That's why we had more plays. We lost, hardly dominating. Once again, stats are for losers.

so Bailey doesnt take the INT back for a TD, Broncos lose 28-14.

We moved down the field 5 times against the Broncos, 1 ended in an INT, 1 ended in a missed FG, and 3 ended in TD's, comapred the Broncos two. Mistake free Jake, we forced into throwing an INT, first in 200+ attempts. We held Anderson under 100 yards, but yeah we didnt dominate anybody

DAMN RIGHT BABY...STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. We have a great motivating coach, Roy is getting so much better finally by keeping us in games, Bledsoe is leading this offence even after his own horrible mistakes, JJ knows he has to prove something sometime regardless of the line. He says he want to be great, well great RBs dnt need a good line a.k.a Barry Sanders n L.T. Keyshawn is always out there to prove something. We R the Cowboys, we have made great strides this year against great teams. We R the Cowboys...DECEMBER 4th GET HERE FAST

Spot on post, especially your observation about the law of averages with these type of contests that we've been in. I hope the schemes/opportunities are there for us to "open up a can" early, like in the first Philly game. The elements might not be in favor of that type of game, a lot depends on how strong the winds are.

There isn't a team left on our schedule that I think we can't beat. KC, Carolina, are both beatable teams. We just have to take out the trash, and get some consistant production out of our running game.

We almost had 40 minutes TOP

We dominated that game and many Broncos said as much post game they stole a victory.

Every game is winnable for us. The Giant's game is no exception.

The key for us is simply protection. If we can give Bledsoe time, then we'll win.

Yes, I'm Captain Obvious.

The Giant secondary is very vulnerable. I think Glenn, Key, Price and/or Crayton can beat their CBs all day. If we can give Drew time, he'll pick the Giants apart.

Unfortunately, we haven't been protecting Drew well lately.....and to further compound the problem, we haven't been run blocking well either.

BTW...Weather for Sunday in NJ calls for a high of 45...possible rain/or/snow showers. Believe it or not, but I think that forcast may favor us on offense. Drew is no stranger to poor weather.....neither are Keyshawn and Glenn.

That's too much of a stretch. Once the Cowboys got the ball back after the INT, they scored a TD, but if they didn't have the INT, they might have continued on to score a TD, but they wouldn't have got the ball right back for the ensuing TD. Also, that was the first score of the game, influencing every drive thereafter by both teams.

Bottom line, the score was 21-21 with 8 minutes to go. We missed the FG, they hit theirs.

It starts with PRESSURE on Eli!......Yes, Tiki can hurt us, but rattle his head a few times, and woops!, interception. Their defense does not scare me. I like our WR match ups, and our TE. Execute and open it up Boys.

What good is favorable matchups when BP doesnt exploit them? BP goes into games with a definate game plan and stubbornly will not change it based on how the game is going. Bledsoe has the arm and Glenn and Price have the speed.......why don't we go down field more often? because BP thinks we are a power running team and we aren't even close to being that. This game will be like the rest.....conservative and predictable offense, solid defense, and the game decided by a "non-football" player.

Pinch me but we can play with anybody, its like the Cowboys don't get it that if they would cut out the little screw ups we would be the team man, Conditt are you listening, look at the teams we should have beat, and the really neat thing is that we are going to get some of these guys again if we make the playoffs, think that Seattle and Denver really want to tee up against us again, I doubt it....

I disagree, we relied heavily on the passing game vs Denver, only problem is the line can't protect Drew. His sack total in the Denver game was misleading, he was under pressure all day and could not let downfield patterns develop. Our OL simply has to step it up especially going up against Strahan and Umeniyora or else the game plan won't matter much.

Our big keys next week:

1. Protect Bledsoe from Strahan and Osi

2. Take shots down the field when possible against their secondary

3. Play disciplined against Tiki and don't let him turn the corner

4. Make Eli beat us with passes to his WRs, preferrably under pressure

And may the best team win.

We still lost no matter how you try to sugar coat it. They need to use that game to get themselves prepared to run the table for the rest of the season.

While we didn't dominate, we surely played well enough to win and you could easily pin this loss on the missed field goal. In fact, all four losses had at least one missed field goal in them.

I believe this Cowboys' team is the best team in the NFC and I think they will win the game on Sunday.
