Seemed to have a lot of nagging injuries last year. This year he looks like what we were hoping for when we signed him.

Although, Ratman may push him next year

Good thread here!!! i think this is the first time i've really seen jason's name mentioned around here which is a good thing...we all know he was somewhat of a dissapointment last year but he's really played well. he has been a rock this year. it's not a coincedence that probably all the 'big' runs we've given up this year have come from around the corner.

Yea when they showed that play where we only had 6 in the box and the DL stood them up only giving up I think 2 or 3 was very impressive.

Fergie is absolutely playing at a Pro Bowl level. Maybe he wont get there because of the scheme, but if 3-4 was considered the main defense in the NFL i think that he would certainly be in. Hes been awesome.

Casey Hampton played in the Pro Bowl last year as a nosetackle ... he had 1 sack in the previous 3 years combined.

Jamal Williams also voted in the 2005 Pro Bowl last year as a 3-4 NT. He had 0 sacks.

I think that was him refering to his friend Greg Ellis having to undergo season ending surgery but I may be wrong.
