...I remember a lot of the mocks had us taking Holmes due to our need for a young, speed WR. Guess we see how that worked out.

Holmes has become one of the most dangerous players in the league, while Barbie remains a wedge buster. :bang2:

Holmes is a drug dealer, drug user, and trouble maker. Of course, he is a good player too, but I don't want him on the Cowboys. Noo.. We don't NEED him on the Cowboys. Plus, he now has Steeler taint. Only thing worse than that is Commander taint.

Outside linebacker was a huge hole for us going into that season and a lot of people thought Carpenter was the most safe pick in the draft.
During that Draft, I Remember Tom Jackson saying that Carp was the Safest pick in the draft.

and to be fair, Carpenter played well in the three games he played at olb for us.

Wade phillips insisted he is not an olb from day 1 and put him inside.

Had parcells stayed he probably rotates with ellis out there all the time and who knows what would have happened.

But putting him inside obviously has had an effect on him.

We should just move him this year.

Ladies, ladies!

Now see here. Carp is not the reason we went from Super Bowl Bound to just another mediocre team.

When you come out of your swoons you will remember that the reason we were not at the Super Bowl (and won't be for the foreseeable future) because we have the WORST head coach in the history of the franchise.
Can't lead, can't motivate and can't win the big ones.
The best he can do is put his hands to his forehead on the sidelines and say "we're fine."

That won't cut it, Jerra and Wade. You two are well on the road to ruining whatever chance this team ever had to even get into the playoffs.

It's not carp. It's not Roy Williams the safety and it's not Flozell.
It's the Clown Wade Phillips.
We are stuck with him and the rest of the NFL is oh, so glad we are.

one of the most annoying things fans do is live in hindsight and act like they were right at the time.

we can all pick winners shortly after they win, huh?
