Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett, recently fined for a profanity-laced YouTube video, was reportedly challenged to a fight by special teams captain Keith Davis during the season.

Davis didn’t appreciate Bennett’s notorious "laissez-faire style," which was on display throughout HBO's Hard Knocks during training camp. Bennett is a dominant young talent, but it may take awhile to shake the immaturity concerns.

Looking at this incident in a vaccuum, it wouldn't be a big deal but based on all the other negative reports about the 2008 Dallas Cowboys tha have surfaced, this is just one in a long list of incidents that demonstrated that there were "cliques" and a lack of "chemistry" in the locckerroom.

I personally wouldn't mess with anyone who got shot on multiple occasions and lived. If bullets can't stop him what chance do i have?

And to think, I had almost forgotten that.

IF I had to guess I would say it was the rams game.

Davis sounded like he was ready to fight brad sham and babe laufenberg during the post game interivew after that rams game.

He was really excited and said how some guys in here cant get themselves prepared for a noon game, they were complaining about playing early. He then went on to say how he addressed the team and let them know how everyone has to be on the same page.

He is another example of a guy who is used to discipline and instead is having the jerry jones/wade phillips Trust loyalty and common purpose way of running things.

He see's it as many do eating away at was a solid team and locker room and he is upset, so it makes perfect sense to me he would challenge a loud mouth rookie filled with entitlement.
