The Cowboys were rather shorthanded at tight end for Wednesday’s practice with both Martellus Bennett (stomach virus) and Rodney Hannah not on the field.
Hannah’s status has not been updated by the team. It’s likely Wade Phillips will address that and the other injured players during his usual press ... Read More »

this should have been a great time for rodney hannah to be on the field practicing with bennett not there;

stomach virus has been going around all throughout the south - we had a pretty big hit of it here in Georgia, and I know people in Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas that all had a bug. Sucks for Marty B.

Doesn't matter for Rodney Hannah since he's a PS player anyway.

i understand that, but its still not a good sign for him not to be on the field when he has a chance to show things while bennett is out;

Who knows maybe some team wants to trade for him.

Why trade for him when they can pick him up from the waiver wire?

If we get more than a bag of jelly donuts for Wade I'll be surprised.

I'm just throwing it out there. But sometimes a team will offer a 7th or a conditional pick to get a guy before the season starts and ensure they get them.

exactly, thats why im saying a conditional 7th round pick if he makes the team. If plays so much, incentives could possibly move up to a 6th rounder.

I am not saying its going to happen, just think it will.
