Tickets to the Cowboys at Cardinals.

I was bidding on those tickets. There were 8 and I was going to offer the forum a chance to go to the game. They sell for $55.00 apiece. So I figured as long as I won the bidding for less than $440.00 it was a screaming deal.

Not so fast, look at this line...

Reserve price is price per ticket.

The reserve was $300.00...per ticket. I thought I would be getting all 8 for a screaming deal. My last bid was $355.00 which would have been apiece.

Uh, that's $2840.00 folks. I seriously doubt any of you would have wanted to come to the game for that kind of scratch.

Can you say relieved as hell? I am so glad that other guy outbid me. They're his.

Sometimes the best deals are the ones never made....
Just ask Jimmy when his 2 deals fell through, and he ended up with Emmitt.
Now you can use that $2840 toward SB tickets.

I noticed that and you can bet I'd have held him to the 2 tickets. Thankfully I don't have to.

Hmm, when I look at it, I think what he was saying by that is that the reserve is the face value of the tickets. The auction is for 8 tickets, it's not a multiple item auction. If you bid $350 on an auction for 8 tickets, you wouldn't owe $3000 or anything.

Though looking at his other auction, he seems to be saying it is per ticket. If that's the case he did not set up his auction properly, and ebay should remove it.

Yeah I got the same thing, I believe he meant the reserve price is set to the total face value of the 8 tickets.

Actually, no it wasn't.

That's a pretty low-down thing for the person selling the tickets to do. I'm glad you didn't get stuck with those tickets but I sure feel sorry for the guy that did.
