Wow I always thought that Pitbulls were stupid. Now I know they are.. lol Well at least this one is...

i think you would like my cousins pit, the thing is as friendly as a golden retriever, only gets protective when someone he doesn't know comes in the door with out my cousin opening it and when their are guns around, even plastic ones its weird.

but the pits and rots that are trained to fight should be sadly put down

I think the same. I can't say it isn't usually the owner's fault but any dog can snap. The difference between a pit and every other dog on earth is a pit will kill you in a matter of seconds if he does snap. You freakin pit owners can argue all day long that pits aren't bad...blah, blah, blah... but it is all bull. Pits are bad and should be outlawed.

I have been around some pitbulls that were the most loving loyal dogs in the world. My friend Ollie has one who thinks he is a lap puppy for anyone who comes to visit. I can't imagine anyone hating that dog.

Don't judge all the animals based on how some ignorant humans raise theirs.

I have been around some pitbulls that were the most loving loyal dogs in the world. My friend Ollie has one who thinks he is a lap puppy for anyone who comes to visit. I can't imagine anyone hating that dog.

I have a pitbull sitting 5 feet away from that is a calm a dog I have ever seen. Our 20 lb terrier mix is more vicious. lol

Chows get a bad rep too. Anyone who is scared of Chows ought to go meet my brother in law's Chow Chuy before he dies. No joke, that is the best dog I have ever been around.

He does not lick. He does not bark unless he doesn't know someone and if you tell him to calm down he does. If that person shouldn't be there, he won't let them in. He doesn't sniff. He doesn't jump up on people. He doesn't come in the house even if the door is wide open. He doesn't leave the yard. If you have infants you can leave the gates wide open and they will stay in the yard because he will not let them out the gate.

I am so sad he is getting old because this dog is simply amazing. We stayed at their house a couple of summers ago and I decided to sleep in the hammock. He slept on the ground right by me all night, away from his normal spot. It was like he wanted to make sure no one could hurt me. Just a damn good dog.

If I could clone him, I would and donate the dogs to families who need a good dog to watch their kids.

is Chuy one of the dogs when you take them for car rides they actually just sit still the hole ride their? i was amazed when Hemi did that when i took him to my aunts house for my cousin. Hemi is such a nice dog hes just like Chuy from the way you described him. I honestly don't know how he is on going for rides. I have never been with him on one. I've watched him keep a whole yard full of kids in line. I'm talking more than 10 kids. Not a one ever went out the gates or into the street or near the dangerous stuff. The dog just knows and he watches.

I have a family that always had a dog, plus many other family members that have had dogs. Different dogs of all different breeds and shapes.

I have only been bit by two dogs in my life...both were little tiny dogs that were too hyper. One you could not even look at or it would go after you.

I have only been afraid of two different dogs...and both were made to be mean because they were guard dogs. They are the only dogs I have known that I would go NOWHERE near.

I have had 3 pits, my aunt had a pit, I have had three different friends with pits.

Of all of those only there was only one I wondered about. He was calm, not hyper but the guy had gotten the dog after it had been beaten and someone had shot it with a shotgun. Lucky for the dog it was from a long distance as it just had some scars on its face. Naturally the guy named it scarface. I just worried that since that dog had been through so much it may do something one day.

I don't know whatever happened to that dog as the guy moved away.
