Holy crap the ES Mods are touchy. (Need assistance please)

I am sure that I am posting this in the wrong forum and for that I apologize right out of the gate, but I got banned from ES tonight and I am puzzled as to why. Before I post my message that got me banned, let me first explain why I go to their boards in the first place.

I don't post a whole heck of lot on any board. This is my favorite board and I have a amassed a grand total of 286 posts in a little over 2 years. I post when I feel like I have something to contribute, or when I have had a little too much to drink, but I enjoy reading the banter, reading differing opinions and in general feeling like part of a community. I have a lot going on in my life, but I love this team and I love to talk football, this community allows me to stay in touch with the team, the game, and fellow fans while staying in the background and keeping a low profile. I dig that!!
I have had such a good experience here that I started going to our rivals boards to get the pulse of the fan base on how their team is doing. I firmly believe that if you want to know about a team, talk to a fan of that team that follows them religiously. I want to feel their passion for their team. They follow every shred of information for their team the same as I follow mine. Once you knock the homer off their opinions you can get a better idea of how their team will fair. I have had great experiences on just about every board but friggin ES. The funny thing is I never "hated" the skins until after I started going to their board. Every time I visit, I am shocked as to how that fan base as a collective group can distort any story, or stat to support their argument. Well tonight, I read a post from TR1 about how the cowboys have had a cream puff schedule and I wanted to know why he, as a Commander fan, needed to tear apart his rival team to build up his opinion of his own team. I thought that this was a fair question, but obviously I hacked someone off.
I am going to post the exact same thing here that I posted there, and I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me what I did wrong. I have been on user net groups and surfing the net since Al Gore invented it, and I honestly do not know what I did wrong. I wasn't nice per se but I wasn't rude either, at least I don’t think so, if some of you admin type guys could give me some feedback and let me know what I did I would appreciate it. ( I am quite sure that if a skin fan posted a similar topic here, he wouldn't have been banned, but it could be that I am completely ignorant of internet accepted practices.

Seems like everyone except puke fans who post here realize what a cream puff schedule the pukes have faced so far...

I don't normally post on this forum, because I realize that it is a Commanders board, but I have got to ask..... You do realize that we play virtually the same schedules right? With the exception of Arizona and Tampa, we drew the Rams and Carolina, our schedules are identical. Our cream puff schedule is the same as yours.

Dallas has only played 2 teams with winning records so far this year, but they did manage to split those games going 1-1. Washington has faced 3 teams with winning records and have dropped 2 of the 3.

I got no problem with a Commander fan not being able to bring themselves to admit that their rival team might be better than theirs, I certainly didn't want to admit that the skins were better in 05' but the spin you try to put on your attempts to prop up the skins is frankly ridiculous.

I don’t come here expecting to see the proud Commander nation bemoaning how great the Cowboys are, but for the love of god, your points of view constantly only highlight one small fraction of the data and conveniently ignore the rest. Much like the Romo interceptions thread you started. Nice of you to point out the INT's, but then gloss over the TD's, you can't just pick and choose the stats that support your claim.

I realize that I have the choice to not visit your message board, but contrary to what is accepted behavior in this forum I enjoy discussing the rivalry between the boys and skins in an adult and intelligent manner. I read the threads here in ATN and quite frankly I am amazed at the hypocrisy and juvenile behavior that many of your regulars portray. Does it really make you feel better about your team to twist every article you can find on the Cowboys to prove how much they suck? I just don’t get that. To me, a rival fan, it comes across as absurd.

I am a card carrying homer of my team as well, hell that is part of being a fan, believing in your team. I just didn't realize that I couldn't truly enjoy the success of the Cowboys without belittling the Commanders... My Bad.

The funny thing is, I never really despised the Commanders until I started coming to this message board. So I will more than likely quit frequenting the board as it is painfully obvious that a mature discussion cannot take place and all of you can talk about my lack of integrity, or lack of a sack or however you want to portray me, it makes no difference to me, but as ambassadors of your team, some of you guys leave a lot to be desired.

Eh. You're trying to lecture people on our rival's board. They're not going to give us the credit you think we deserve. That's fine. Don't go reading over there fishing for compliments or trying to argue that the Cowboys are better than they think we are. They aren't going to listen.

Just like if a Commander fan came over here to do the same thing. He'd be immediately written off as a homer. Then if he came back and started trying to lecture us about how we're so blind we can't see the Skins for how good they REALLY are? Do you think he'd get a good reaction?

I wasn't trying to lecture anyone. I could understand what you are saying if argued with them quite a bit. I just wanted to know why any fan needed to tear apart his rivals team to inflate his opinion of his team. If I came across as lecturing then I guess I am guilty by association, but for crying out loud, is it too much to ask for an mature discussion? I expect them to flame the boys, I expect to be called a cowqueer, brokeback et al, but I just think it is ******** to constantly post such blatantly foolish articles that serve no purpose other than to incite a moronic and uneducated group of fans. My biggest shock I guess is that is the "official" board of a professional sports team. At some point I guess I would expect a least a modicum of professionalism. Perhaps my expectations are too high.

Your expectations are too high. If a Skins poster came over here trying to argue his team was better than we thought it was, someone would chime in with some sort of "clever" nickname for the Skins and tell him he's a homer.

Mature discussions go right out the window when a rival poster shows up and starts trying to change opinions. No opinions are ever changed and people just start spewing insults. It's extremely predictable.

It's a bit stupid too, but well, that's the nature of the beast I guess.

I have a tendency to voice my opinions all too frequently, just ask my wife. Perhaps, it is me, and I need to keep my opinions to myself and not try to influence anything. I am asking this simply to avoid any problems on this board.

That's one of those self-fulfilling statistics. We've played only two teams with winning records because we've BEATEN six out of our seven opponents. If we had lost to the Bears, they'd have a winning record. If we had lost to the Bills and Vikings, they'd both be .500 teams. If we had lost to the Giants, they'd be leading the division, not us. We're the only NFC team who has played the Patriots. And against the two winless teams we've played, we won by 17 points on the road and 28 points at home.

Why? Because it's ExtremeSkins, and their mods are classless. If there's anything negative about the Skins, there's a very good chance the thread will get locked and/or deleted, or the person posting something negative will be banned. Their mods (a certain one in particular) regularly hurl childish insults at opposing fans and post all sorts of lies and misinformation, then delete the thread when they've been proven wrong. It's like the mods there live in their own little world where they pretend that something is true when it's not. But in reality, they're just living in ignorance. It's rather pathetic.

I'm being quite serious about that, I witnessed Art (one of their mods) do his **** thing on a Skins fan a coupla drafts back... ol' Art ORDERED the "offender" to post EXACTLY what he (Art) said he should post, or he'd get banned... the "offender" had some cojones, refused as he should have, and was indeed banned...

This is a sample of the dynamics over on that farce of a board... perhaps it would help you to know that ES is actually OWNED by the Skins, Danny Boy bought that board a year or two back... and of course, the Mad Midget just purely hates any criticism, so you know he wouldn't have shelled out for ES if they weren't homeristic in the extremest...

Extremeskins is a pathetic joke of a message board anyway, why would you even WANT to hang out with that pack of losers?? I have never even attempted to sign up over there, the only time I even know what's going on is when one of our regulars posts a link to a thread over there, and I follow it (the same curiousity that causes people to rubberneck car crashes is in play here, I think)... there are better boards out there covering the Skins... even the Commanders' newsgroup has a better, more knowledgeable collection of football fans...

Well color me unimpressed. I wasn't trying to start a flame war, I try to behave myself wherever I go, but I wont be wasting anymore of my time on their site for certain. I will just stay here in the CZ yard where I don't get picked on by the big bad mods at ES... There must be a rampart penile inadequacy phenomenon on that site.

Thanks bear I will check that out. I got the feedback I needed guys, I just wanted to know what I had done wrong. I appears that my mistake was in signing up in the first place. This topic has run it's course and we can get back to football now. Thanks again for your feedback guys, my ego needed some uplifting...LOL

Never post on ES. I frequently read just to see what they saying and getting my laugh for the day at their extreme homer attitude. ES carries homerism to a new low. Even my Skin-fan brother doesn't bother with ES cause of their attitude.

Also read a Giant forum and some fans on that board are almost same as ES but quite a few, while also hating the Cowboys, will occasionally give us props. While many also refer to Romo as Homo, same as ES (name calling is rather childish) many also able to objectively discuss some Cowboy - Giant issues.

In fact when pro bowl balloting came up, most believe Eli deserved to go but (unlike ES) many up front said any Giant fan who thought Romo wasn't better then Eli was a fool. Others chimbed in to say Romo & Favre (because of his age/records) were locks to make it, etc. They also believe upcoming Giant-Cowboy game would decide best team. Obviously they believe Giants will crush us, etc. but some again thought it would be tough.

Again I read both fan board but never post. It is amusing to see how both seek anything which makes us look bad or can be used to make us look bad. Some times we do the same of course. Don't forget most of us on this board really don't want fans of other teams here. It's just reality.

Eh, I stopped going over to ES when a bunch of their regulars either don't know simple football terminology and how football works or that they are so biased that they act that way just so they won't admit that other posters may have a point or...a gasp....they might be wrong.

I go on message boards to get into good conversations, to see logical sides of view that I never thought of before and to learn stuff that your mainstream media doesn't provide. Arguing with somebody of the football equivalent of the "sky is green" I realized was a waste of time.
