it is beyond funny
when things are going good, and these "legends" are praising the cowboys, all is good and they are "legends" and a "part of our history" but if the team is performing poorly and these same legends criticize the cowboys or point out area of improvement, homers unite and thse same "legends" are suddenly "haters" "jealous" and "should just keep quiet"

here is a thought, maybe they know more about football than some of the homer fans

Fixed that for ya. :)

On NBC Sports on their football page, these are the titles of the top articles on their site.

Embrace it my friend. ;)

I do. But there are 31 other teams and many of them are not on their bye week. That was just a bit unreal to me.

Drew Pearson is pretty annoying these days.

I am loathe to criticize great ex-Cowboys, and I think there is a pantload of kneejerk rightnowism to far too many posters, but I have to agree with this, advisedly so. For a long time now there has been a my poop don't stink air about Drew, and it is tiresome.

I've always found him kind of annoying. No wonder he doesn't get along with Jerry and took forever to get in the ROH. (Not saying he doesn't deserve it, because he definitely does.)

Yeah, I'd be fine if I never had to read another quote from him. Just seems overly critical and bitter all the time. He has an arrogance that has gotten beyond old. Take your Ring of Honor spot and just shut up Drew.

Be ready to duck. Someone's bound to come in here and tell you to bite your tongue.

Where's the talk about the Eagles collapse, 49ers/Bucs/Skins at 3-1?

This is why I can't go on those sites (and sometimes this one) when the Boys lose...especially in that manner.

It comes with being America's Team.

My comments in this color.

Off the Bench: Dad, son burn Romo jersey (video)

People are emotional and they are tired of being led to water and then being dragged a way.

Romo is THIS SONG!

You can look at the menu
but you just can't eat

You can feel the cushion
but you can't have a seat

You can dip your foot in the pool
but you can't have a swim

You can build a mansion
but you just can't live in it

You're the fastest runner
but you're not allowed to win

Some break the rules
and live to count the cost
thing that won't get lost

And you wonder
Romo is never to blame

Off the Bench: Pearson rips Dirk for supporting Romo

Well, this is dumb. Dirk supporting Romo is cool and it shows he understands it and want to lend support.

The difference here for me is Dirk lost all those years. He didnt singlehandedly cause the team to lose. - Just stating a difference IMO.

PFT: Commanders TE wants to fight Romo in UFC

He just looks like an idiot. I can stop there.

PFT: Deion doubts Romo can win a Super Bowl

Thats his opinion. I am inclined to agree. No big deal there.

Good question. Surely a dream team has to answer for losses.

Doesn't surprise me a bit. We are America's Team.

We tell that to everyone who will listen, because it's true. Look at DallasCowboys.com. That site has over 3.5 million fans following it on facebook. That is an incredible number!

So, of course the media is going to make a big deal of it when America's Team suffers 2 historic meltdown losses in the first 4 weeks directly as a result of stupid play by it's QB.

Tony has to have thick skin. He may be the most scrutinized QB in the NFL, jsut because he plays for Dallas.

I saw this on JEOPARDY

Alex, the answer is: NO ONE outside of Philly care about the collapse?

Alex Trebek: Correct for $1,000

Next Answer: Not Many

Question: Who cares that the 3 aforementioned teams are doing so well out of the gate?

There's been a lot of talk on espn radio this week about the Eagles faltering.

I agree with some of Pearson's comments about Romo, but his comments towards Nowitzki are totally inapproriate. Basketball isn't a real game? Get over yourself, Drew.

I remember when it used to be:

How Bout Them Cowboys!

Dallas Poised To Dominate NFL for The Next Decade.

Aikman, Unbeatable On The Big Stage.

Jimmy Johnson, The Smartest Head Coach In Football.

Buffalo Bills - Doh!

My, how times have changed.
