Four Divisions in the NFC.
Four teams with records of 7-3. One with a 8-2 record.

Ladies and Gentlemen.

The Dallas Cowboys are very much in the running for homefield advantage throught the playoffs.

Their once was a time when the Dallas Cowboys ruled the earth...... ITS HAPPENING AGAIN!!!

I love the happy playoff talk and the HFA discussions ... but let's beat the Bronco's first.

If things don't pan out on Thursday, this is going to be another sorry board Thursday night.

Nevertheless, I think this is going to be the biggest two game stretch we've had in over 10 years. I can't remember two more meaningful games which are almost MUST WIN for us ... in a LONG time.

Even a loss against Broncos doesnt take us out of HFA. Depending on what we get out of the loss. We could run the table and finish 7-1 after that loss. I would gladly take that loss if it meant that we take the "next" step.

If there are two games which we can "afford" to lose ... they're against Denver and KC.

We MUST win the NFC East games, and we have to win the other conference games to lock things up.

11-5 won't get us HFA and may not give us the NFC East.

But it should lock us down for a nice home game for the first playoff game. :)

I hear ya Eddie.

But with 6 games left and only 1-2 games seperating the leaders... who is to say that 11-5 wont get you HFA.

Its the unknown right now. But certainly possible.

everyone is saying what a critical game this is vs. the Broncos, but i disagree. if there is a game we can afford to lose, i feel this is it. much more important to win our tie-breaker games vs. the Giants, Skins, and the NFC south teams. i was really happy to see the Panthers lose to the Bears (who don't scare me at all) and Atlanta lose to the Bucs. if only the Eagles had managed to win vs. the Giants...

wouldnt that "next step" that you speak of be in fact beating a team like Denver at home?

I think this game is huge for us from a confidence standpoint. If we win here, this team will know they belong. If they dont, more question marks. They'll wonder if they can really hang with the big dogs.

Im not saying they're gonna fold up there tents and go home if they lose this one but a win here would be the next step in the natural progression of a team on the rise.

I think it would be a great story to have home field until we have to go to Seattle and beat them at home in the NFC Championship game !!!

REVENGE !
