We need home field advantage! Crank up the heat to 80+ degrees, make it a sauna in there. Our opponents are going to be worn out. Gives us an edge, better than piping in crowd noise :flagwave:

With 2 wins were are assured HFA. or with 1 win and loses by NY, Det, and Seattle we wrap it up.
1 win takes our record to 12 wins. NY, Det, and Seattle must all win out to reach 12 wins.
What a difference a year makes!! Its so good to be thinking about HFA and not just hoping to squeak into the playoffs.

It's good to think about it but hopefully the team is focused on taking it one game at a time as "looking ahead" is often a mistake in the NFL...

Well New York and Detroit play each other in two weeks so it will be impossible for both of them to win out.

Also the Packers play both Seattle and Detroit

Lastly, the Giants play at Washington last game of the season and that might be for the last wildcard spot so don't look for the Skins to just lay down like a $2 hooker.

I really don't see any of these three teams winning out so we probably just need one single victory over these last 4 games to seal HFA. Of course that begs the question, if Dallas loses three out of the last four they probably are not going very far in the playoffs anyways so homefield probably will not matter in this scenario.

In all seriousness, I think we probably lose 1 game and finish 14-2 on the season. I don't think we collapse and have to have other teams to lose in order to back door into HFA.

We play
8-4 Giants
8-4 Lions
7-5 Tampa
0-16 Eagles on the road

With 3 of these teams playing for the playoffs, and us playing some of these games for probably nothing, I expect at least 1 loss if not 2. If we run the table, it will be but another in a long list of pleasant surprises this season.

I think the point everybody is making is that the Giants, Lions, and Bucs are all playoff caliber teams and if we lose to all three teams, what does that say about our chances in the playoffs? If we cant beat playoff caliber teams in December, we probably are not beating playoff caliber teams in January either.

If we lose two games, they better be the last two once we have clinched. Losing to these teams before we clinch is a very bad omen.

We've been beating playoff caliber teams all year. Why is everyone speculating on the playoffs? We will have HFA and if we score more points than our opponents we will be SB champions. Right now we are probably the favorites. I do not think how we play a game in week 15 or 16 will effect how we play in the playoffs. We will either execute or we won't. These next 4 games and the playoffs aren't closely related. You are what your record says you are. Our record will say we are somewhere between 15-1 and 11-5. If we are at least 12-4 we will have HFA and our record will say we are one of the SB favorites.
