Now that Rogers is out for a year and he probably is done with the Cowboys, hopefully we can score with Petiti from the 6th round and null out the fact we spent a 2nd on Rogers.

Yes, I agree with my fingers crossed UC2. Petiti will get more reps in practice and in the pre season. I am sure BP will give the guy every opportunity to succeed. He has done a great job making the weigh-ins. Hope he keeps working hard

Why would Rogers be done. What do we lose by letting him rehab his butt off and come to camp? I'm not saying he makes the team but there is no harm in giving him a shot to make the team next year. He's a camp body with some huge upside -- if he can get healthy.

I believe the post is referring to all the negative publicity about how tough Rogers is and BP is losing faith in the 2nd rd pick. It will be his 3rd year next year and we all hear about the unwritten BP policy......if you do not get it by your 3rd year playing for him.......guess what? Stick a fork in him!

3rd year policy is a good one -- but he should at least get a shot at showing something in that 3rd year.

I agree......I think Bill will put him on injured reserve and give him one more chance next year. He will be gone instantly if he sustains more injuries! Could be a real waste.

The Weight thing shows me that he has the commtiment to do it. it's hard to move from LT to RT, but I think he could do it. He seems like he plays with a mean streak, Rogers strikes me as a *****.

I think we will know much more if Rogers is done with the Cowboys by the off season moves next year.
