The D is perfect, the O just has to be half decent, like the Steelers last year

We've barely beaten two teams that have yet to win a game all season combined, and lost to an average Denver team.

Romo can't hit the broad side of a barn and you think we are going to go damn near undefeated the rest of the way.

The only positive thing about the Denver game was that it was an AFC team.

If the Cowboys can get Felix Jones back and get Barber healthy, they can still win some games.

If they play to the running game, the defense, and the special teams, they can win.

If they continue to run empty sets and pass plays (up 10-0; while the defense is dominating) while being backed up in their own territory, the coaches will be fired by the end of the season. That 3rd down and 14 pass play was the biggest play of the game. Punt the football and live to fight again. It's solid, conservative football. Don't give the blitz happy team a chance to get your QB holding the ball.

Plus, Felix Jones has to be used. He only got 7 carries against the Giants, and that isn't even close to being enough.

Now, if Gurode can't go in K.C. and Proctor plays, the Chiefs could beat Dallas, imo.

Mike Jenkins' great play was lost in the shuffle of that fiasco.

I'll say it again.

Mike Jenkins is going to be a flat out stud.

What a play he made to save that TD/Bomb to Marshall. He had a great game.

That chump pulled Newman's jersey and yanked him backwarsds and force Newman to play catchup. That was a hold on Marshall. As a result, Newman had to play catchup and wasn't allowed to really get his feet set perfectly, so he could get his best jump.

I've seen Newman make that play his entire career. I was shocked he didn't get that ball. If he doesn't get held and yanked backwards, Newman knocks that ball down or picks it.

I guarantee you that much. I've seen him use that 41.5 vertical plenty of times to knock balls away or pick balls off.

I wish I could. Romo has ripped out what little faith I had in a Wade Phillips led team.

It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have a chance to win both those games. Or if our problems were something I thought capable of being fixed.
