Revenge shouldn't be the determining factor for Dez to play this week.

Agreed and it would not be much of a revenge since the one game was a divisional playoff game and this is regular season and does not change the outcome of the game in question. I want Dez out there playing if he is cleared to play, that is what football players do they play the games. They do not always play at 100% but I think you use the information given by medical people and the player to make the final call.

If Dez doesn't play GB will put an extra defender in the box to help stop the run. Dez playing will keep GB's secondary honest.

It shouldn't Big Dog, but pain tolerance and an impetus to help our rook should be. Using the GB game in 2014 also doesn't hurt. Might motivate him more.

Not saying that's what should draw him back, he has already been cleared. For two weeks.

the revenge factor is way overblown imo
I agree from a team standpoint but not necessarily from a player standpoint. Certain players have always used real or imagined transgressions for elevated motivation. Take Randy Moss as an example. Dallas didn't draft him. He tried his best to light up Dallas in every opportunity he got and did. It can be argued that simply being drafted into the NFL should be enough for any player but Moss felt slighted all the same.

Extremely well put, East. It's going over too many members heads, imo.

If we get Dez for the GB game, any chip on his shoulder certainly wouldn't hurt :)

In the last game with Green Bay, didn't Dez have something like 1 catch for 9 yards? Also he and Romo cost us the last playoff game in Green Bay by not finishing the job. Elite players actually complete catches.

As we have seen the last two games, he elevates this offense approximately ZERO. I hope he gets healthy, I hope he plays, but if not... Offense will be just as good either way.

This isn't a soft tissue injury, or strained ligaments.

It's a hairline fracture/bone bruise. I think he plays this week. Then again I thought he'd play last week, and thought we would lose without him, so what do I know.

Using one game as a sample size and projecting the success from that is dangerous territory.

If you think we'll be fine without Dez going forward you're delusional.

I want Dez angry and PO and ready to destroy all DBs the rest of the season. He is a beast and needs to get going. Time to roll...
