Horse Collar on Romo

Three things:

1. I have no idea what Simms was talking about. That was a horse collar. The blocking was pitifully bad though on the blitz and no WRs seemed to be open.

2. The Romo INT, Romo had pressure up the middle. I don't know if he was phased by the last play, but with the pressure up the middle he couldn't step into his throw. Problem is, Leary actually came right before Romo threw it, and took out the defender. I don't know if he could have seen Leary coming or even adjust in time.

3. Despite this point, from what I saw is, it was still a throw into double coverage.

I can't fault him that much on the last play. I just don't think they needed to take a risk like that. They resorted to their typical offense, when the whole game they were mixing it up very well.

I just can't imagine the Cowboys getting away with that against one of the big time QBs especially late in a game

I don't think it was between the tackles, cause Romo was breaking outside and right outside the tackle.

It was outside the tackle box and pocket. Go back and watch it again. Even Phil Simms agreed that it was outside the tackle box. Should have been a penalty for sure.
