I keep waiting for DMC to break a very long run, and possibly for a TD. Seems he is getting more close to doing that. This is 2 starts now, and majority of the Giants game.
He has been consistent. So as the team gets more comfortable with him and each other, I can see some big plays.

And the team fails to use him as a pass catcher, dude has excellent hands, but I guess we have not figured that out yet. Why not try to get him out in space more...Then you will see him break some long ones. Its really a shame, last night would have been the perfect opportunity. We also dont run enough tosses to him, get him out on the boundries...think we ran one last night for a nice gainer.

McFadden is doing great. No complaints. I cannot help but wonder when he will pull up hurt.

DMC has my respect. Good player. I wasn't expecting this.

Am I the only one worried about his workload?

No, you're not. I am perplexed by the way we are using our RBs. I'm glad DMC is emerging as "the guy" but I don't understand why we don't give him some rest in spurts. It's either DMC or empty set. Michael must be in the doghouse.

I think C-mike is going to be cut after Trey gets a week or 2 under his belt. They seem to like that Rod Smith guy

McFadden has been awesome. I keep waiting for him to get a step on the defense and take one to the house, but, unlike our defense, opposing defenses have safeties that take proper angles. Weird.

He has been playing good but what I probably can predict is that next year when we expect him to have another good year, that is when he might get hurt.

I understand what you're saying, but at this point, what does his workload matter. Ride the horse until it drops because giving the horse a rest won't matter, anyways. McFadden, IMO, isn't someone we should be thinking will be a difference maker to this team next year and beyond. Get what you can for as long as you can. If/when he's no longer effective, go with the next guy. It's not like any alternative strategy is going to make a difference to the end of year outcome.

I don't think DMC has anything to do with Michael. I Think the Cowboys realize that a running back by committee is not really the best for a running back. You need to get a feel for the game you're playing in and giving a back a few carries then other one a few carries.......you can't get a feel for the game or the defense you're playing against. Even Demarco last year.....there were games where Demarco would be struggling after about 10 carries but would finally get it going.
