Jimmy has no desire to coach and I don't blame him. He can live happy with the legacy he's left behind that Jerry the GM is still chasing.

Well, he proved he can win under Jerry. In fact, he's about the only one who could win much under Jerry.

I'm sure Jimmy would just love to come coach this team at this stage of his life.

C'mon man! You know better than this.

Jimmy is enjoying the good life. He has a cushy gig at FOX, has plenty of money and plenty of time on his boat. Why would he give any of that up to deal with Jerry?

Mack Brown. Just kidding. He's all booked up at the senior citizens home.

But seriously, get Stoops from Oklahoma or Briles from Baylor here (No NFL retreads). These two gents will need a good salary plus a small ownership stake. They won't come here otherwise. I also like the Stanford coach what'shisname.

first, he is quite content with his life
second, I can't see him putting in the 20 hour days like he did 20 years ago
third, JJ would NEVER do this - it would be admitting that they could only win with Jimmy...
fourth, can you tell it the bye week and there is nothing to discuss??? :D

I love Jimmy. I love Jimmy. I love Jimmy. It's also obvious Jimmy loves the Cowboys.

That being said, what is more obvious is that anyone that loves fishing and has spent any amount of time in south Florida, that has the money to live the life that Jimmy is living (with 2 SB skins), would NEVER go back to the grind of coaching in the NFL.

You have got to kidding, no to Cowherd, took him 15 year to win do you think ya'll would wait that long before wanting to faire him, i HOPE JJ give Garrett a new 5 year ext on his contract..

You cool with 8-8 then? Bc that's what we get with JG leading this team. Cowher wouldn't be my first choice, but at least he's a proven winner. Hoisted a Lombardi. JG has never won anything. JG has trouble gettin his best players (dez) the football. It's predictable. Its way out dated. We consistently under perform under JG. Always playing down to competition.

Anyone who still wants this guy to be our HC seriously lacks football knowledge.
