I was completely caught off guard! Did Jason mention why he called for an onside kick? I assume it was more about getting the offense more work and possibly putting something on tape for playoffs teams to think about.

All I was thinking of after that onside kick was recovered was all the Commander fans who were cussing up a storm.

I thought it was a gutsy call! He was reiterating to his team that they were in this game to win it.

If he didn't get it....i think it would have given the skins some life. It was a good call though...no one expected it.

I was amazed that it was used in Dallas. And I was impressed with how the execution of the play, went.

I like the the execution of it... I think we should have saved it till we needed it. I seen a few other new wrinkles we put out there that we should have just saved for the playoffs. I mean you waited all this time why expose it now. I know we most likely have other stuff under wraps too.

That may have been the prettiest onside kick I've ever seen. Go back and watch it. He doesn't telegraph it at all and it is perfectly placed. Kinda say they let that one out of the box before the playoffs.

That kind of play is rarely used in the playoffs. It made perfect sense to use it today just to make playoff opponents wary of such a thing, but the odds were that Dallas would not have used it come the post season.

Maybe that's just what they want everyone to think.

It was an interesting call and I think it was more to keep the team focused on execution than anything else.

Rarely happens in playoffs but SBs happened successfully twice......New Orleans and Pittsburgh against us.

I though it was a great call. And figured if they got the ball, got a td, trying to put the game away asap so he could pull the starters.
Kept thinking that throughout the game, one more td, rest them. But they could never get that td for a while.
The sack fumble td what finally did it, though not much time left at that point.
