How about this scenario...

this scenario: No press conference; no announcement. BP just shows up at the Senior Bowl and goes about the business. JJ says nothing. Of course the mediots have collective strokes whinning and crying and begging for something- and they are ignored. Which is the one thing that above all else they cannot stand. So they keep it alive for a LOT longer then it would have.

I think they would put out a statement at the very least.

If only to announce new assistant coaching moves.

True- and no mention at all of anything else!!
Would love that if it happens- just to watch all the mediots go nuts!

If I was a player on the team I would be offended by the fact that it is taking manboobs this long to decide.

A large part of his decision, I presume, is whether or not these players are "worth it".

Overall, it just sends a bad message IMO.

Get a boob job you loser.

imo it makes the players think man, he wanted to retire 2 years ago but he keeps comin' back b/c he thinks we got what it takes to go all the way. just depends on how you look at the situation.besides these high priced prima donnas in the game today dont care if the coach is bill parcells or bill clinton feel me

I don't think you can see that BP did not put out the effort, which is what pissed me off so much about some of our players- I DID not SEE a whole lot of effort!!

Clearly BP's distaste for the media shining thru. BP may not be talking but he is sending a message.
