How are the Cowboys not a top 10 offense?

Maybe because being 22nd in points scored and 22nd in yardage doesn't qualify as Top 10.

Scott Linehan.

Dude never adjusted, wasn’t with the players and did his own thing.

If Zeke openly admits, Moore listens to them more and will do things to help that they see on the field, that’s all you need to know.

Plus anybody who watched any game the past few seasons, knew how predictable and vanilla our scheme was.
I like that thought but when have they been on the field and told Moore what they’ve seen and he listened lolol

Look at our offensive stats last year. How do they justify a top 10 ranking?
Inside the red zone, they don't.

Dallas Offense
2016 vs 2018 (games 8-18)

Yards per drive
2016 36.3
2018 36.3

TOP per drive
2016 3:02
2018 3:13

TD scored from outside red zone
2016 11 (17 games)
2018 10 (11 games)

The Difference
Red Zone TD%
2016 66.1
2018 54.5

per nfl.com the cowboys don’t have a top 10 offense despite having a top rb, top tier wr, top tier oline and top 10 qb...boggles the mind

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...10-offenses-saints-colts-eagles-best-of-bunch

That's just marketing... serious spin.

I can tell you why the Boys team coming out of camp is very likely to be a top 5 O

better OL health and depth

JW is back, one of best red zone targets ever

a play maker to spell Zeke

no Scott

and mostly a developing synergy with a young talent WR corps with blazing speed

last year with 9 new targets Dak threw to 14 players total. including new starters at XWR (no Dez), TE (no JW), YWR (no Twill), and FB
*if you consider Looney and Williams ... that was 6 new starters in 2018 ... amazing they got to the playoffs

Dak completed passes to 342 passes last year. IMO, that climbs to at least 360. Here's how I think the ball gets spread to 2019 to who I believe will the top targets:

Amari Cooper 70
Ezekiel Elliott 50
Michael Gallup 50
Cederick Wilson 35
Randall Cobb 35
Jason Witten 30
Tony Pollard 25
Jalen Guyton 20
Dalton Schultz 15
Blake Jarwin 15
Tavon Austin 15
total 360

Note how much more clear WR situation is now vs last off season.

the guys in bold have elite NFL speed - it's gonna be hard to stop these guys from controlling the ball and speed kills.

I love Witten, but he's a chain mover, and not a great red zone target.
