I'd like to think this isn't a must win game. One could argue each week is a must win.

Sitting at 2-1 I'd argue it isn't except for the upcoming schedule.

How nice to even expect to win with a backup QB who we now have confidence in and building momentum with.

3-1 will build more momentum and confidence heading home for what should be our toughest opponent this year.

For me it's likely the difference between 10-6 /9-7 so likely a playoff spot. I'm more nervous about this game than Cincy or GB. I have those chalked up as losses. The way I'm thinking is if we can go 2-2 in the next 4 games we have a good chance going 10-6.

Huge...

Every win without Tony Romo is huge.

We will win this division if we can keep NYG and Philly in our site until Romo gets back.

Don't do that to yourself Pal. We have to rely on the guys out there. Romo , Dez , smith etc they may not be there. Don't get your hopes up relying on 1-2 players. This team made that mistake last year. As a fan I did too. All it did was let me down. This team is either good enough or not regardless of who's playing.

We might be playing this game without our best QB, WR, OL, DE, and CB (Scandy versus Mo is debatable but Scandy is for sure at least #2). Winning would be preferable, but we will be far better with those 5 players back, which should happen soon for most. So losing is not the end of the world either

I did not think it was big until the last few days.

This is a bad team, just as the Bears were, except this one is healthy and just poorly constructed.

All in all, I worry more about our team, their mental state.

If they lose to this team, those Niners, I wonder if they can recover.

They were already talking about how a loss to the Commanders would send the team into disarray.

I don't think we have the "swagger" yet.

Another great game from Prescott would do wonders.

His first bad performance, not good.

Linehan is already softly tapping a drum for Romo to return sooner than conservative estimates.

Everyone will have their own opinions regarding any 'must win' talk, but if we think that this is a good team, this - like Chicago - is a game they should win. San Francisco is not a good team, nor are they one with any playoff aspirations. If you can't beat a team like that, you have no right to have playoff aspirations either.
Exactly.

San Fran is going to be picking in the top 10 of the draft next year, they are just a bad, bad team.

If we cant beat them, then we probably are not going to beat very many teams on our schedule this year. If this team is a playoff caliber team, they will win. If they lose, they might be picking in the top 10 along with the 49ers because I don't see too many wins in the coming weeks if the 49ers are too tough to beat.

Every game is a must win. If it's not then don't bother showing up to play it.

Watched the game. The defeneses are the same. Serviceable with a few splash plays. I will say that Gabbert is horrible and Kelly is an insult to the NFL.
