I remember talking to friend about how nice it felt to win something after the season we had, even if it wasn't on the field. Reports indicate that the Ravens were high on Martin and reading some comments from their fans they were very much on-board with the pick before the draft.

If we would have lost the coin toss and the Ravens took Martin we would've been in no mans land. Obviously there weren't any compelling trade offers to move down, the drop off behind Martin in value would have put us in a weak position.

Thank heavens for winning that toss, just shows you how potentially important One position in the draft is.

Whats wrong with wanting Donald over Martin? Cowboys also wanted Donald over Martin and he wasn't there so they took Martin. Donald would have cured of a lot of the things wrong with our defense. I didn't say he is HOF.
