If I was Brady, I would not have provided my phone or give them any text messages. It is on them to prove guilt.

If I was the NFL, I would fine and suspend Brady. Let him know both could be reduced if he provides his phone.

If the suspension holds up. We will be one of four teams to benefit from the suspension. Thoughts?

He should have been suspended the entire year. This is nothing more than a slap on the wrist. While Hardy's case, which had nothing to do with football, its punished with a 25 game suspension.

Its ridiculous to say the least that the Patriots can get away with such actions while the rest the of the league, especially Dallas is punished much more severely.

I doubt that Hardy will ever get a 10 game suspension if he was with the Patriots or the Giants. Goddell is nothing but a joke and has ruined the NFL.

Well if the NFL wanted to they can sue the Pats to force Brady to give up that information. They did it in regards to Hardy's case. They threatened to sue the county where Hardy's records are stored. Heck if the NFL wanted to, they could sue whatever carrier Brady uses and force them to give up the text messages and emails.

In before the.....I want to play them at their best....crowd gets in...

But I care somewhat, only because if I'm not in town, my tickets won't sell for as much as they normally would with Brady playing.
And that's not from a standpoint of NE fans paying the higher price. As somemDallas fans may want to see him play as well.

But also Dallas fans may pay, to see a very good chance at a win....

You know, I'm normally in the "I want to play them at their best" crowd, but NE has taken an unfair advantage against every other team in the league for who knows how long? I don't care if they're hobbled without Brady...and if any team gets a shot at them in a weakened state, NE deserved it.

It is not on them to prove guilt. This is not a court of law. As the NFL’s Policy on Integrity of the Game & Enforcement of Competitive Rules states, “Failure to cooperate in an investigation shall be considered conduct detrimental to the League and will subject the offending club and responsible individual(s) to appropriate discipline.” You must cooperate in an NFL investigation or you are subject to discipline. End of discussion. Appeal should not be overturned and the arbitrator will ask for the same evidence that the NFL wanted. Will he turn it over now? You knew Brady was guilty when he said that he didn't even know one of the ball boys accused in deflating balls. Come on man!!! Bruschi admitted he knew the guy and he hasn't played in years for the Patriots.

I'm quite sure his suspension will be reduced to ensure he plays against us, if for no other reason it'll be a ratings coup

As it stands, he is set to return against the Colts which is their biggest rival and the team that turned them in. I understand that Dallas is always a big draw, but they don't even come close to that as far as being a ratings coup.

There was no way they were giving him a suspension equal to what Hardy got. The blowback from that would crush Goodell's chances in next year's popularity contest.

The PC correct take may be realistic. I would act that way. One may want to ask the question: Would the Pats have won the SB without cheating?

If not then my suggestion might be very light??

Well, I adamantly disagree that you should give up your private data, etc to someone over the argument if you're not guilty then why not. But if the NFL and player's union has agreed to play in the NFL you agree to fully cooperate within reasonable bounds then he has to do so.

IMO he got off very lite. The evidence is circumstantial but enough to convict IMO. I'd have given him 8-10 games, fined the Patriots 10M, and taken away their firsts in the next two drafts and probably a 3 or 4 in 2016. It has to really really sting.

Yup they have no reason not to cheat yet again. Especially that snake Belichick.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this but man.. you cheat which impacts the integrity of the game and you only get a 4 game suspension? That is weak as hell. Then the thought of having them reduce it is even worse.

I don't think Brady being in or out really effects Dallas at all, outside of the 1 game we have with NE

I wonder if fans can file a class action vs the Patriots and force a subpoena on his phone records. What are you hiding Brady?

I want the Cowboys to smash Brady's face

Yessir.

Brady should have been suspended for the year as far as I'm concerned.

With that being said, if he has his suspension reduced and takes the field against us that's fine. Let the Patriots be at full strength when we beat them down. I want us to pulverize that cheater into the ground.........numerous times.

Can I just say how much I hate this circus of giving suspensions and then cutting them down on appeal? It doesn't make the league look tough on these violations. It makes it look ineffective and weak. Just make good decisions that you know are going to hold up, and get on with it. Keeping stuff like your champs cheating in a Superbowl season or misdemeanor domestic abuse or Peterson's child abuse in the press for longer than necessary helps nobody. It hurts the reputation of the league, it hurts the affected teams, it hurts the players involved, and it does nothing to help the causes at issue just setting high penalties and having them reduced later in the process. Overall, it just keeps a giant spot light on stuff we'd all like to get behind us and it's a distraction from everything good or fun the league does on the field.

It's hard to predict how this will end up but to reverse a 4 game suspension which was a low ball suspension to begin with IMO, it would be a travesty. Deliberately cheating during a playoff game is a serious offense and I feel it will be upheld.

I have not seen a 3 wheeler in a long time. Those things were much more dangerous than a 4 wheeler. The front wheel would catch a groove and you were out of luck trying to steer out of it.
