How can you not be excited about this offense?

Talk Dak, but sensibly. All you done was bash him.
So DO NOT turn it into. A bash Dak thread like you and others usually do.
All I did was tell the truth.
If that's bashing him, that's his fault.
I would much rather be talking about all of the great games he's won against the best teams in the NFL and getting excited about this year, but he's made that impossible.
That's on him.

So Dak did that all by himself? Interesting.
No, he is just the final straw.
Marion Barber Jr and Jason Garrett came before him and were just as bad. Barber was the weak link that ended drive after drive before, and Garrett was the hole in the Cowboys leadership before Dak.
Dak just carried on Jason Garrett's incompetence and ensured that the death of a once great franchise was complete.

There are questions at RB and OL.
Steele, Booker, Guyton—any one of them could stunt the progress of the offense. Not one of them is a guaranteed stud at his position in 2025.
We do not have a stud RB who can carry the load for the second year in a row.
On top of that, Ferguson must rebound from a down year and Dak must shake off any rust right away.

In my mind, this offense is likely one more year of seasoning/development and 2-3 draft/free agent additions until it will be a real threat. But who knows, maybe they will surprise me a year early.

Give me 30 days and I'll let you know how high I'm climbing on the bandwagon.
Dak and Shotty have all the weapons they need at this point. It's all about execution and discipline. We'll see if they have it or not.

It was all Jimmy.
I don't think it was all Jimmy, but I believe Jimmy controlled the team and limited any internal distractions.

Both Jerry and Jimmy have type A personalities, and sooner or later Jimmy's control was going to end due to Jerry's personality.

Switzer was riding the coat tails of Jimmy and faded out. After that, history was written...

We have a very forgiving schedule this season so Dak and the guys should rake in quite a few wins. But this won't get me excited. Once again they'll show their true colours in January.

Its still a long way til September but right now i feel if everyone plays to their full potential, we can secure 7 wins.

I have major concerns at RB, TE, and both tackles.

Once again, this team is going into a season with a completely unbalanced offense, plus, the health of QB1 is another major concern.

Both tackles were terrible last season, penalty machines, gave up sacks, and were generally inconsistent.

I do have a glimmer of hope. New coaching might help the tackles and the TEs. But the performance of the entire o-line will determine how well the QB plays and whether or not he stays healthy.

I’m also hoping the new coaches will do more with the WRs than run up the field and turn around.

Hopefully they trade for or sign a decent running back with a little experience.
agree!!

Only the early schedule. 2nd half of schedule is nothing but nasty.

Then who was it?

Dak gets injured game 5 and Milton turns out to be Josh Allen, that would be exciting!

Dak is back and should be ready to go, he'll have weapons at his disposal to throw to. You take a young stud in Lamb, and pair him with Pickens, fireworks should go off every game! Pair that a hungry TE in Ferguson, and some young backup TE's, along with a speedy Turpin, our passing game should challenge defenses in a way it hasn't challenged them in several years.

Our commitment to add to the offensive line can't be unnoticed. Do we have questions at both OT positions, of course, but with dedication from these OT's and new coaches to challenge them, we hope they improve to levels unknown for this offense. Our interior OL is looking great with Tyler Smith, and Beebee who as a rookie showed a lot of promise. Factor in a mean tough and nasty rookie in Booker, and we should be able to be more physical up front.

Questions still are there at the RB position, but I don't think it's that deep as fans have made it. Training camp begins soon, open up competition for EVERYONE and not just whoever is the highest paid/etc. Let those guys compete and the best person will get the start and hopefully will have a chance to find his rhythm in games and not be taken out so often. Sprinkle in some plays from our rookie in Blue, his speed alone if we can create lanes/get him catches, could be exceptional for us.

I'm excited about the thoughts of this offense and where things can go. You can't rule out other guys like Mingo/Tolbert giving us help on offense. I want to see how different the offense looks from previous seasons under Mike McCarthy. Will we rely on Dak to be in the shotgun often, will we see more 12 personnel. I can't wait, please give your thoughts!!
How, look at our defense.

Because we havent won a SB since 1995. I have been let down so many times I can no longer get excited about this team. They let me down every year. The only thing that matters is winning a SB. The regular season simply means nothing until we can win in the playoffs. Ive decided to only watch games when we are winning. If we fall behind early, Im just turning the game off and going to do yardwork. My life is incomplete until we win the big one. I have decided to no longer have sex with my wife until we win the SB. It is my individual protest against the horrible owner and GM that we are stuck with.
