How comfortable are you with Showers as the backup?

Dak had performed with backups but Showers has performed with backups and guys that won't make this team......

That's Showers fault. Had he performed better in camp he wouldn't be playing with players that are on the bubble like him. Dak outplayed him making Showers the 3rd QB.

Showers had a leg up on Dak having gone through training camp and preseason last year with us and appeared to be the worst passer of the bunch. He's a good athlete but has shown no consistency throwing the football. You're not going to win football games in the NFL with a QB who can only run.

I hope the Browns cut Austin Davis. He'd be an experienced backup in case Dak falters. Showers to the PS after Davis learns the play book.

It's bit his fault. Everyone who was at training camp all agreed that Showers looked good in camp. Unfortunately for him he was a undrafed rookie free agent and Dak was a actual draft pick.

He was the last QB we saw last preseason and the QBs ahead of him were undrafted free agents. We've seen why Dak is ahead of him and it has nothing to do with him being a draft pick. Would you feel comfortable with Showers being one hit away from being the starting QB?

I think we need to sign 1 if not 2 vet QB's as soon as the cuts happen around the league. I personally feel that Showers isn't a NFL QB. jmo

Dallas needs to be very active looking for QB's and a couple for the practice team also while they are at it !!!!
