That really describes Doug Free too......

I really think that Free's PP has picked up this year. Go back and re-watch the TWill toe drag play from last week and focus on Free. He completely stonewalls a lineman for 6-9 seconds in a way I can't remember seeing before. Absolute technical perfection.

I thought in the first quarter he was late off the ball but he settled down and played well. I thought Tyron was the weak link today. He seemed to really struggle with JPP which we have not seen. Maybe the ankle was giving him some issues

I felt the same it looked like he was waiting more than attacking, JPP is too good for that technique and hence the pressure on Romo just from one watch of the game, positive he does not receive offense player of the week two weeks in a row.

Tyron is dealing with apparently an ankle injury. He did miss some practice this week.

He was solid considering it was his first start. But he could've been better. Definitely has room/needs to improve though imo.

For some reason ppl here want to get rid of doug free even if hes playing better . Just to see themselves like a great talent observer! We are winning but they still see all the warts on everyone!! Just enjoy the ride..drink your beer and stay in the couch . At the end you are not a scout neither am . Just enjoy the moment

I noticed he got beat on the pass that scared Romo into throwing it, it got tipped, and almost intercepted. That was early in the 1st quarter. I didn't notice anything after that though.

Did you notice Smith getting beat?

I'd say he's the opposite of Free more power less finesse. He struggles just a bit with speed rushers off the edge but bulldozes fwd on runs. All he needs is more game time and I believe he can be an upgrade over Free...

Not too bad. He still struggles to get proper waist bend and there were some blocks he didn't finish that Free would have finished. But, we got some big runs towards his side which allowed the running game to be balanced.

I honestly didn't notice him good or bad. Murray was doing damage to the right side though. Parnell had to have something to do with that. He's a guy I'll focus on when I see the game again.
