I disagree that most Cowboys fans don't hate Jerry. I think they clearly have a personal hatred of him and I think it is what drives them to continue to follow the team...they get more enjoyment of being a fan of hating Jerry than they do of being a fan of the team.
As far as Snyder goes, one of my best friends is a Washington fan. And they are pretty much all alike...I think deep down if Snyder was removed ala Donald Sterling they would rejoice. But, they would rather keep the illusion that he is just fine as the owner. And usually the last argument I hear from Washington fans is well, he's a real fan of the team.
One of the funniest comments I had ever heard from a Washington fan was at least Snyder is a fan of the team where Jerry just wants to add another Lombardi trophy to his trophy case.
I would say as a whole...and with my Cowboys bias aside...Washington fans are some of the most dim-witted fans in all of football. They too often let their emotions, bitterness and hatred get in the way of sound logic. And I think that is why Snyder suits them to a tee.
