As hard as ever!!

They should be really worried about playing us twice (if that happens), this 1st game should let them know who we are and how are we playing right now.

Merry XMas to all of you!

We have to go all out. We are not a great cold weather team. We can ensure that we will play only dome games throughout the playoffs if we beat Philly.

The obvious answer is we play to win the game.

However depending on how tonight's game shakes out will determine how we come out in week 17. If the Philly/Dal game is locked in, we need to avoid key injuries, and get some guys in that normally don't play and see if we can get some other guys some chances to see if they can perform in a meaningful game.

In a lolipop and rainbow world, I wouldn't mind seeing a whole lot of Choice Sunday and a lot of Ogletree. Maybe even take some chances on 4th down that we normally wouldn't take. See if we have anyone else riding the pine that may be of service in case we lose someone. Use this game like a preseason game because to me this is essentially what it is. A preseason game for the real game that will matter a whole lot more than a win or loss next week.

HFA against Philly to me is not going to win or lose us the game. We are just as capable of winning in Philadelphia, as they are in winning here in Arlington. As someone else said, with two teams as well acquainted as we are with them, there's probably nothing either can hide. However if there is anything we have that they may not know about, I sure as heck don't want to see it in round 1.

Play a game that will correct our issues, learn more about our players, and not expose a good play just to win this week. That'd be how I'd play it...

Will the Eagles let off the blitz in the first game, or blitz the way they usually do.

How does Garrett prepare for the Eagles defense this week?

Will the Eagles stay back and defend or send everyone?

Considering the Eagles are the likely first round playoff opponent, win or lose, how do we approach the game next week?

Do we go all out to win or hold something back for the playoff game? Also, how will the Eagles approach it since the scenario is virtually the same for them?[/quote

Uhhh..... you play to win every time you step on the field. If you don't, you don't deserve to put on a uniform.

You play all out to win the game. Besides, there are too many scenarios floating out there where we could very likely NOT play the Eagles the following week.

It is week 17. There are no secrets out there anymore. Plenty of film is available on all teams, and tendencies are well known.

You hold nothing back. Play to win.

Not exactly.

You give it everything you got in the usual gameplan to with Sunday because home field is so huge in this situation.

But the following week you prepare to bring whatever you can that they have not seen, formation tweaks that have not been used, five wides, more Ogletree and Hurd, trick plays like the flea flicker, the seldom used RB go route out of the back field, much more Choice, planned runs for Romo, Felix big hitters, all kinds of surprises to mix in

Be physical. Keep on punching them on the nose until they lay down. That's all they understand.

You play to win and win big, you go all out. These teams know each other so well its mano a mano and the best scenerio is for Dallas to send the Eagles back to Philly with a bad feeling in their gut only to have to turn it around and do it all over the next week assuming we dont get 2nd seed from a Minny Meltdown either way you play to win
