How do y'all feel Overshown is playing?

Considering the severity of the injury he's coming back from, Overshown is playing well.

You will see flashes of his speed. I remember a couple weeks ago he chased down Jalen Hurts from one side of the field to the other and stopped him for no gain. I think once he gets more and more reps he will regain a lot of his previous form.

Remember he spent the entire offseason and training camp/preseason rehabbing. The past four games has been his only football in a calendar year.

He is coming back from a massive injury and surgery. All three knee ligaments torn and repaired.

I am shocked he is back on the field at all.

Even when he gets up to physical speed, he may never regain the form he had before the most recent injury.

Assuming he does come all the way back— I would imagine it will take him to pretty close to 2 years from the injury for a full recovery which would put him still a year away.

Even if that happens, will he be able to mentally trust his body and play aggressively like he did prior to the injury?

Bottom line: I respect him for getting back on the field immensely. He is playing about what I would expect in terms of knocking the rust off, still not being 100% healthy, and dealing with the psychological aspects of the recovery

Who was the LB we drafted a few years ago in the 2nd that would have been a top 3 pick. He had alot of tackles but just couldnt make that big play as his mobility was roughly half of what it was in college.

I see Overshown been that LB but with about 75% mobility which will make Overshown a mid tier pro bowler, raking up around 125 tackle and 3 sacks a year

The scheme sucks so Overshown can't show all he's got. They should be using him like Parsons. Blitz, Blitz, Blitz

I have zero faith that Eberfraud will use him the way Zim did. Zim seemed to figured out what he did best and he really turned into a difference maker.

If anyone can comeback strong and play at an elite level it’s definitely Demo. I’m happy he’s back on the field and as each game passes he will get stronger.

There was so much excitement and hype from the fans. Maybe it is the lad's underperforming sophomore season and will come back strong in 2026.
But by judging Junior Schottenheimer's glowing review of Murphy, he must be gushing about Overshown.

Overshown is playing good ball all things considered. Barring injury, he’s a stud and will be an asset to the D for years to come

To be honest, he's not nearly as good as he was last year. And at times he's been not so good.

But, give him another off-season and we have a chance of seeing the player we saw before if he gets the right coordinator. His recovery has been remarkable.

He will be back. As of now, he's still the best linebacker out there..

His injury status will definitely put him in line for a big extension in Jerry world.
