I don't mind being stoppable in the Super Bowl. But were still stoppable they only scored 8 points vs the Seahawks.

I understand what he was talking. But again I form my opinions off of what I see. I didn't knock X at all, he's actually one of my favorite posters on this board. I didn't ask your opinion thanks
What happened to denver was very simple; they got out muscled and physically beaten.
Simple as this...don't come to a board that is designed for discussion, offer an opinion of conflict, and then claim foul when it is discussed. That comes with the territory. If one takes a moment to observed one's feelings, the fact that you aren't being attacked here - at least upon your view - may be noted as well.
But a view can be discussed...and if one didn't earn a little ruffling one's self, that should be part of a disagreement in principal upon the football field. Roles there, are complex, and no quick fix does fix all situations.

That isn't the my issue. It's the insinuation that I have somehow challenged X's opinion or that I don't understand what he is saying when quite the opposite. X and I have exchanged many messages about this very subject. But to attack me and say I don't know squat because I can form my own opinion based off what I see is ridiculous. There was no need for that at all. I didn't challenge anything that was said, I simply stated that he played well last year and it looks like he did something's differently this year because he looks trimmer, and that I hope that he recognized what he needed to improve on. I said nothing outlandish and did not challenge or say X was wrong. Thus, I should not have been challenged about not knowing "squat". Sorry just because someone hates life or enjoys being a salty individual doesn't mean I have to sit there and take it. I won't. I've enjoyed this board since 2002 and I've seen many posters get run out of here by people like that, and it's a shame. I have no issue discussing ones opinion. I have every right to engage in it or not. I chose not to engage him. But thanks for the input
I'm not trying to create a problem. Just attempting to be a mediator of sorts. It boils down, sometimes, to let the emotions wind down.
I'm sure that you are a true fan, and bleed blue when a Cowboy is hurt or abused. X is the same way, and he does add a lot of observation worked hard for as well. Sometimes, energy spent leaves an emotional deficit as well. He cares deeply as well.
Set agitations, and history aside, my new friend...and you don't have to prove yourself to me. Just for reference. Enjoy more, now...
The meaning is Dallas will still face some very good defenses this season and I don't expect hanging 30 some odd points on them. I do expect a top 5 offense but I'm also realistic enough to know that a great defense can slow down any offense. While many have written this defense off for Dallas to have success the defense will have to play decent football, just as Denver defense last season did.
I think you are the only one that I've gone back and forth with in a long time. I know great defenses can slow down a good offense, but let me say that we now have the offense to get us into the post season, even with the worse defense in the league. I've seen many teams take their team to the super bowl with bad defenses so spare me.
I can already see you, among others, are preparing your excuses in case we fail again, instead of admitting that we have a major flaw on this team. We should be able to march up and down that field on nearly every team we come across. We have weapons all across this offense. We have stud receivers 1-3, and a stud tight end. We have studs littered through out the offensive line, and a stud running back, not to mention a change of pace back that is as quick as lightening. A lot of people consider Romo a top 10 QB and a lot hear says he's a top 5 guy. Why can't that combination succeed?
I just don't care about hearing any foolishness from fans this year, this offense should light it up.
Well, talk to your coach, your GM about that. They are responsible for bringing in the talent and coaching it. Your GM was stupid for hiring a great grand pa to run his defense. And I personally don't like this version of the 4-3. Non the less, that defense had nothing but injuries last year, so I don't expect that defense to be that bad.No excuse I think offense will be very good but I think given the teams like the seahawks you better bring both good offense and at least a decent defense if you plan on winning. I don't make excuses but I also do not live in fantasy land I understand reality evidently you don't

You fans wanted Ware gone and a couple others, so don't whine when we can't get to the QB. A healthy Ware can get to the QB, but as I said, the defense was littered with injuries. Still, I've seen a last place defense go to the super bowl. Now what?
So you expect us to make the playoffs but not sure if the defense can be decent. Not sure if the defense gave up 28 points especially when the offense allowed interceptions run back for touch downs early on last year. Not to mention the offense giving up INTs or fumbles in the red zone of the opponent, which leads to easy points.Again I'm not making excuses, I expect this team to win the NFC East and I think much will fall to the offense all I'm saying is defense has to be able to play decent. You can talk about stats like defensive ranking which tends to be about yardage what I'm talking about if a defense giving up over 28 points a game that is hard to overcome and if this defense fairs no better than that Dallas will be hard pressed to win enough games to make post season and likely will cost Garrett his job if they fail. I like Ware and if we were not in the age of FA and caps this would be a non issue but since we do live with caps and FA and ware was unwilling to take any cut in pay Dallas did what many would have done.

I would not squarely blame our failures on the defense, this offense was bad last season. Spent most of it's time catching up, so the inflated numbers are all we would see in the box score.
The bottom line is, this offense with Tony Romo should be able to move the ball up and down the field with ease. Putting pressure on the other team to score. If the defense can't stop anyone or can't get turnovers, then yeah, they should not go anywhere. But no team has done that bad where you can NEVER stop anyone. Our defense stopped teams plenty until the offense continued to give the ball back to the other team. Our offense is to blame for a lot of the defensive problems, and vice versa.
There were games that opposing punters never stepped foot on the field and the defense could do nothing to stop them. I expect this offense to be good but winning is more than offense alone and yardage stats do not mean a damn thing it is points you give up, if you have not figured out they don't put yards on the score board they put points on it. To respond to the 1st part yes I expect us to win the NFC East because I think the offense will be very good and I think the defense will show major improvement over last season. I would no doubt the defense will struggle early on given the young players we will be relying on but I also think this group has talent and will improve as the season progresses.
Have you figured out that winning is scoring more than the opponent? I guess not. You see we lost to denver because they put up more points than us. And of course, your hero fails once again when the pressure is on. That's his theme though isn't it? Denver didn't rely on it's defense to win, they simply outscore opponents. Now this didn't work in the Super Bowl, but at this point, I don't care if we make it to the super bowl because I think Romo dosn't have the it factor to come close to a super bowl, but making the playoffs and actually winning there is something I would like to see, although most likely it won't happen again. And then guys like you will argue why it didn't happen. Typical 2014 fan pushing blame instead of insisting for accountability and not justifying this crap we see from top to bottom.
