How does BP rally the players going into the playoffs?

We've still got a shot, although the chance may be small. BP needs to try to boost their confidence.

We've already had the players only meeting, players calling out other players, coaches trying new stuff on defense, etc.

If I were BP, I would harp on several things,

1. If we can cut the turnovers, we can win. We spotted Detroit a big cushion after just 1 quarter of play.

2. Play with passion and efficiency from the get-go. Often, we're slow to start. We can't afford that in the playoffs.

3. We need a complete game from Special Teams, Defense, and Offense.

4. The season starts from here. It doesn't matter if you're 10-6, 9-7, or 12-4. We've got a good a shot as any team.

Typically, if we had strong veteran leadership, BP may not have to do as much of this as this IS the playoffs.

But the best thing the team can do is forget the past month, and just focus on playing an error free as possible game.

I think we got a feel for Parcell's post game talk from hearing Romo and T.O.

Seems to be:

1. "hey we accomplished our bottom line goal for the year, we are in the tournament."

2. "Everyone starts the Tournament 0-0, this season no longer matters."

3. "If we go on a run the next 3 weeks, no one will be talking about what we can't do anymore."

He can't rally the troops. Its been 4 years and still nothing. Its been 4 different starting QBs and still nothing. Its been 4 straight games of the defense getting shredded and still nothing.

By benching players

I do not know if you were serious or not, but these players do need a dose of fear. And we do have several candidates who are playing poorly enough to justify a benching.

Maybe they need to get guys like Ellis more vocal . . . . or heck, get Randy White to come in and beat the x#$% out of them if they lose. :(

Let's see, bench B James and bring in . . . . ? Or at the minimum use James for more obvious running situations.

........how about by admitting defeat. Or by saying, "I've been around long enough to know when I've made a mistake(s!) and now is the time to fix those mistakes". That would be a good start.

I would put Ayodele at middle linebacker and flank him with Carpenter and Burnett if we are going with a four man line.

My disgust with Bradie is pretty bad. I'd almost even consider Fowler if we go with four linebackers.

Normaly One has to be in an induced coma to get dreams like that.

That's what got Jimmy back to back bling bling. That is exactly what they need, these guys are too comfortable with playing like poo and losing.

I agree whith that. Then he should ask them what they think they need to do to fix thinks. If they feel like they have a say and hold stock into the game plan hopefully that will fire them up. He cannot force feed them and expect them to buy into what the game plan is. Its obvious that is not working anymore.

don't forget too tall.

i think darren woodson, james washington, charles haley, moose johnston, and a host of other cowboys from the glory days of the 70's and 90's would be an excellent motivating factor.

have a real player's only meeting.

I was serious and like you said they need some fear. I don't see anything else left that can be done to be honest.

I would really like to see this on the field.
