I'm completely stunned he is still here....
LOLHow do you keep your account?
The two FB are here for reasons other then playing FB.
Keith Smith is better on special teams, already capable of playing halfback in a pinch the same as Rod Smith and an emergency option at LB.
Will we ever dress 3 RB and 2 FB for a game?
We will. The question is do we dress 4 RB and 2 FB

Yeah don't think we need 2 fullbacks dressingThere will be 7 in-actives each week and it will be very fluid as injuries come and go.
1. QB Tony Romo
2. G Ron Leary
3. RB Darius Jackson or Lance Dunbar
4. CB Dax Swanson
5. LB Justin Durant
6. S Kavon Frasier or J.J. Wilcox
#7?
It could be DE Charles Tapper, but it'd be hard to go to a game with only 7 DL.
My final inactive would be Rod Smith.
Only if Dallas is going to run the Wishbone !!!Keith Smith is better on special teams, already capable of playing halfback in a pinch the same as Rod Smith and an emergency option at LB.

I think so. Mostly because you're really dressing 3 RB and 2 special teamers who might split 5 snaps at FB while taking the 15-20+ special teams snaps.Keith Smith is better on special teams, already capable of playing halfback in a pinch the same as Rod Smith and an emergency option at LB.

Yes and Dallas has no OT on practice team either !!!!Is Rod Smith that good on special teams?
Even if he is, would it trump the value of another player that also plays specials and offers better value at his listed position?
The game day 46 will be a fluid entity, we're going to see many incarnations, but right now I view Rod's spot on the 53 as a statement to our commitment to the ground game. The same goes for signing TE Austin Traylor to the Practice Squad (TE James Hanna is on reserve/PUP, we'll see what happens with him).
The team wants to run the ball.
We have depth at RB, FB and TE.
OL depth is good, too, except I'd like to have a legit 4th OT.
Does Bisaccia think Rod Smith is that good? He's made a good enough argument so far to keep two FB on the roster despite the fact that we're not good in 21 personnel. If they veiw Rod Smith as a core special teams player then I expect he will be active. Same holds true for Keith Smith. Kieth Smith is a ST player who's not good enough to be one of 6-7 LB so they tried him at FB. Rod Smith is probably RB6 on this team, but has made the roster it has to be for a reason. Now its possible they just liked them more then the others on the roster at this point and might very well move players around by the start of week 1. But right now I just can't see any reason for 2 players listed at FB to be on this 53 unless they're going to be core teams players and active on game day.Is Rod Smith that good on special teams?
