How far the mighty has fallen

Wade Phillips broke the GB offense last year and the league noticed. factor that with a lack of a threatening running game and suddenly Rodgers has tons of defenders flooding his passing lanes.

Pretty simple. He's a few years into a massive contract, and there's no telling how much he got from the State Farm "discount double check" stuff.

Bathing in 100$ bills and getting models on a daily basis can throw a wrench into your competitive desire.

He's always thrown on the run and off balance. His cannon of an arm allows him to do that. He just is not as accurate.

I don't think he's done either. He's too talented to not snap out of it.
Not as off balance as he's doing now. Some of the gifs out there are crazy.

Big deal he had a fumble...or actually was stripped by our defense.
He completed 75% of his passes and you want to pretend him overthrowing a WR in the end zone means he played so poorly.
So I guess if every pass isn't perfect then its an excuse to focus on that non perfect throw instead of focuses on the fact that they just got beat at home by a better team.

Rodgers didn't play horribly. He has 294 yards, completed 74% of his passes, Had a QB rating of 90.8.
That's the kind of horrible that is good enough to get you in the probowl.

The focus should be on the fact that we went to GB and ran right over the #1 ranked defense against the run in the modern era.
Instead lets all act bewildered that Rodgers completed 74% for 294 yards with a QB rating of 90.8

I dont know what to tell you. Everyone is talking about how bad he is playing and how bad he played in that game. If you disagree, whatever. You are entitled.

It could be age and his mechanics are off. He may need to rework his technique for where he is at today.

Jordy was not available last year and that was the cause of their offense failing last year. Jordy does not look 100% yet either so that may be a problem. I am not sure people are getting open either but tough to tell on the TV.

I don't have a problem with trashing the mansion but leaving mounds of cocaine behind just reeks of unsound judgement.
i know why would anyone leave that lying around for someone else to take right?

The media does this crap a lot. They do it to the point they piss off the greats and they come back dominant. They did this to Brady in 2014 after they lost to Kansas City. They said Brady was at his end after how he played in 2013, what happened next? They went on and destroyed the Bengals, only lost 2 games after, and won the Super Bowl.

Rodgers is 32, I highly doubt he's done. I think there are a few issues: one being the players around him simply aren't playing like they used to, Jordy is still getting back to 100%, Cobb has had a few injuries that have stalled his career, Adams is a meh at best WR, and who the heck is their TE? Lacy is banged up, but they may have found something in their backup RB who looks to be a legitimate scat back.

Just no chemistry on their offense right now. But I don't count out the greats, Rodgers will bounce back and they'll be in the playoffs...and probably lose to the Seahawks.

Rogers should spend some time on the bench. get some things straightened out...they have Brett Hundley

I'm aware of what everyone is saying. That's why my first post mentions the media choosing to bash Rodgers instead of give us credit.

You can just take what the media spins and believe it or you can choose to think critically and look for yourself. Did he have his best game as a pro? Of course not. But did he play pretty well? He did. But that's not as dramatic as bashing him avoiding giving us credit. If you didn't know any better one would assume Rodgers threw 4 picks.

Yep it is that bad for Rodgers

Everyone is giving the Cowboy credit as well. On here as well. They are noting everything. Great play of Dak and Zeke, great playing by the D, and poor play by Rogers. All of those things happened and are being discussed both here and in the media.

Rogers has been so spot on good over his career that any downturn appears dramatic.

Great example of spitting out stats without context. Rogers struggles aren't isolated to just this game. He's certainly not performed like the perennial MVP candidate he's been the past 5-7 years. Ask any Packers fan.

To some folks, it's not objective and balanced media coverage unless evertyone is saying "OMG, OMG! The Cowboys are the bestest...they going to the Super Bowl baby!!!!"

A game between two teams can't possibly have more than one story angle. Just one is allowed apparently, lol.
