How is this defense so bad?

There were 23 guys with at least 9 sacks last year. They are all impact players?

It depends on how you define "impact player." I don't consider that the same as an All-Pro.

I'm not saying they're loaded with talent but you'd think a team with Brandon Carr, sean lee, Demarcus ware, jason hatcher, Bruce carter and Orlando scandrick would be better than 32nd and historically bad.

Its just so embarassing to watch every week

Brandon Carr is playing more like a 50 cent corner than a $50 million corner. He's had issues in coverage and would rather observe tackles being made than make any himself. All he does after a receiver catches the ball is run along side and wait for someone else to make the tackle. Against Detroit a few weeks ago instead of trying to tackle Clavin Johnson after a catch he tried punching the ball out and Johnson took off on a 70-pus yard play. Injuries have made Ware a shell of himself and Lee who's been the best player on the defense can't stay healthy especially in Dec. Most of the players on defense are average players and the injury plagued DL is loaded with scrubs.

It's like everyone knows what defense Dallas is playing except for the Cowboys.
