Define running QB. Dak does not run that much. In fact, most QBs today are not 'running QBs'. Especially not like Vick was. They pick their spots. Cam Newton might be the most running QB that is in the NFL.

From the results from last game, more fans will be wanting Dak to become a more of a running quarterback. Fans have been calling for him to run more to take pressure off of his throws. Is this going to lower his longevity in the NFL.

Yeah that's what I don't understand. They have rules in place to protect the qb so why not exploit that?

I think the problem with trying to figure out do running qb's last in the NFL is determining who is a running qb. Cam clearly is and physically he seems to be great. Steve Young ran a lot. Randall Cunningham ran a lot. Mike Vick ran a lot. Russell Wilson runs when he has to. He runs smart which I think Dak does as well.

We can talk about DAk's flaws but one aspect of his game that he does really well is not take unnecessary hits.

IMO, the sample size is small but everyone wants to point to RGIII and how his career went.

I did. Dude was a flat out stud. What's funny is out of all the running QB's today, Alex Smith might be the best of them IMO.
