It seems like in 2008 everyone knew or predicted Felix Jones was going to Dallas and most even predicted some kind of combination of Jones and Jenkins

In 2007 Anthony Spencer was a mild surprise, if you could put 2 and 2 together you probably figured this out 2 or 3 weeks before the draft

In 2006 Bobby Carpenter may have been the worst kept secret in the NFL.

In 2005 you knew it was either Demarcus Ware or Shawn Merriman. I'll admit Spears got me.

In 2003 everyone knew if Robertson was gone Newman was the pick.

In 2002 everyone knew unless he was gone Roy Williams was the pick.

This is the first time in a while that the potential picks are all over the board. Yes the names are starting to come into focus but even now you can take your pick between 3-5 names as well as 3 or 4 positions and the trade scenario is starting to play a little louder as each week passes.

The next week or two should be interesting. Will everything come into focus as in year past or is this thing about to get more confusing?

Also one of the worst picks ever too....

It sounds like the info DCfanatic has been getting from Broadus points to Nate Allen being the guy.

I wouldn't be surprised if our 1st 2 pick were Nate Allen and Alualu.

I think Id hold off on Alualu one more round, but youre making a lot of sense.

And lol at other people thinking theyve got it all figured out. Other teams dont know what Jerry is thinking but TurdFerguson69 from Idaho has it all figured out.

Iupati may have the highest 1st round grade on the Cowboys board once it's stacked for the final time.

I dont think there is any way Pouncey enters the discussion or at least not in the top 23 grades they have given out in round 1.

That would make him the best player in the draft. I'm sure the Cowboys don't see it that way and it's not what you meant.

I just hope they see a few things the same way I do.
1) We don't need one impact week one starter from this draft to compete for the SB
2) We do need 2-3 players (including Free) who can step in some time this season in case of OL injuries.
3) Our primary focus should be on stacking OL on our 80 man roster. I want to see 12-13 players go to camp we feel good filling the 10 OL spots on the 53.

I'm thinking our 1st guy is going to be whoever is on the board between Nate Allen and Devin McCourty. My guess is Allen because of the Hamlin situation.
