you are confusing objectivity with you love for dak and being a blind homer. You are minimizing the roster mistakes and costs associated with the signing of zeke and dak and dlaw ? anyone who knows football knows the cowboys overpaid\. Do you know Dak got paid 75 million last season . Zeke roster hit around 21 mil , crazy money !!!
Dak had every chance in the last 6 years to make a difference and has not . 23% winning percentage against winning teams , and 1 playoff win !!! you call that a top 10 QB .?? Even Dak's most ardent supporters ( if you want to discount PFF). have had enough talk and not results from dak . many teams consider dak in the 15 th rankingh. The accuracy you keep refereiring to is usually against bad teams in the NFCE ( which you seem to also think are trash) and in futile comeback attempts . Dak has missed many opportunities in very winnable games. At crunch time he folds. Many overpaid members of the team have also folded not only him.
One last note , Hurts has not proven a lot yet, but his upside can eclipse dak, if dak doesn't show up this coming season. You watch .
If Moore just keeps his mouth shut and waves him pom poms, I still say he will be the next HC. There is a reason he is repeatedly promoted without actually accomplishing anything here. The guy IS Jason Garrett, and that's what Daddy wants. Wins/losses just doesn't matter compared to the credit Jerry thinks he'll get if we ever actually win something. Look at Mike. While I don't think he's a great HC, he at least tells it like it is...or closer to what it is, in terms of this being "not like any other organization". Hard truths are not what Jerry wants to hear, from any coach or player. Speak right, do the right things, be a "great" guy, and the rest will take care of itself.
As OC for the remaining 3 years of MM's contract and as HC for the next 10 years.
By that time John Stephen will have had a couple years as QB coach, 1 year as OC and be ready for a couple decades as HC.
We can speculate about Moore and his future but the fact we cannot ignore is that the HC was told to stay out of the play calling in that playoff game. Unless you think McC forbade himself to get involved in his first playoff game as the DC HC. Never in the history of post playoff game pc's has any HC done what McC did. I did not think I could be shocked by the shenanigans of this team but that did it.
When he said that, I wondered about the reactions from the Joneses, the other coaches but not the players. I think they realize this is a team unlike any other they've ever played on with the involvement of the owners and every other team they've ever been on, college to the NFL for some, the locker room has always been the HC's domain.
So, was McC hired as a trainer for Moore until they felt comfortable he could take over? The son was able to sell Booger on Garrett replacing Phillips so is he the backer of Moore or is that Booger himself not giving up on training his own HC to claim the title of "football man"?
Why do any of us care who gets that job? It will be in name only without the power associated with it.
When he bought the club and announced he was in it from "jocks to socks", we didn't recognize that as a warning.
Bottom line is he owns it and can do whatever he wants with it and we are nothing more than witnesses.
I stopped reading at the blind homer and love for Dak comment.
Neither are true. So anything you posted after that is lost.
I criticize the team and Dak when and if needed , so therefore you are wrong about that.
You are blinded by your hate…
Go back to your Eagles forum and take your cronies with you.
Kellen Moore is loved by the Jones Family.
You don't like the art, so it's "bad"? Maybe it's awesome without your approval.
It is not that I like it or don’t like it. I think it is way over hyped. So I make jokes about it. That is better than ragging about other crap all the time.
Some rag about 26 years, I rag about over hyped art.
Im figuring yes, but did you hear MMs initial comments after the whole 'will he be fired' thing in January?
He sounded truly taken aback by how this organization is run.
We can all conclude what we wish from that info, but it leads me to believe that Jerry is still very involved in steering his puppet.
Only the first coach under Jerry actually chose his own coordinators, and there doesn't seem to be the slightest bit of thinking on his part that maybe that doesn't work....yet he is supposed to be some great owner.
One of the more interesting takes I've seen around here in a while.
Can't say I disagree.
Yeah. I see how these cultural shortcomings specific to this team could affect both player and coaches.
It is close to impossible that any coach or player can not become an eventual product of this toxic environment of mediocrity.
Thats why I sincerely hope Parsons can maintain his edge, hunger and generational talent to become all that he can be while being surrounded by so many hypocrites within this organization.
I truly wish the best for the young man even if its with another team.
You contradict yourself and resort to name calling and questioning a cowboys fan for criticism Dak your beloved QB , who has done nothing worth anywhere his contract .
If I was an eagles fan I would want Dak to continue , he scares no one . 6 years and counting , 1 playoff win !!! Enjoy .
Your comprehension is not very good.
yes he is too dang predictable !lol
he does not utilize the talent he has properly and is not that innovative, fails to adjust during games.
he is like JG in that he takes what he thinks the defense gives him, and he does same stuff over and over.
Kurt Warner showed many of his flaws in the videos he did on cowboys.
I am not a dak fan, and he is somewhat mediocre, but he has always played for bad coaches.
It is hard for any qb to overcome a bad game plan and poor play designs, and poor play calling.
Only linehan did a good job back in 2016, where he designed the offense for dak. Then they threw that in the trash and went back to
the usual offense.
Linehan got run out of town, but really looking back he did better than any others.
He got the one playoff win I think and helped dallas to playoffs twice or 3 times?
So far mike and kellen have only 1 playoff appearance and that was a disaster.
good post, normalization of deviance., had not heard that term before.
Poor Kellen as he has a glue factory horse (Dak) and the expectations are a Kentucky Derby win.
Imagine trying to put together a game plan with this handicap????
Then you wonder why we throw so many screens,check-downs, and only pass from shotgun unless it's PA?
Kellen like his predecessor(Linehan) is doomed for failure and at some point will do the scapegoat walk!!
good points. But the issue is Dak has not excelled and even during linehan time , the results were mediocre with one playoff win at home. For a 42 mil a year QB , you need more than that. He just does not scare defenses nor can he manage things if plan A goes bad. He gets rattled so easily and folds .
But i agree Jerry and the FO have messed up the roster and meddle too much to have consistency.
Dead honest….Quinn and Moore are not HC material. They will always be better suited to be coordinators. I think someone makes Moore a HC before we do. If we do then Jerry is even dumber than I thiought…bar is not high.
Jerry is probably dumber than you think ! lol
and if someone else wants him that will motivate jerry to go all out to keep him.
