I'm just curious how many of you don't want Murray back ? If so who do you want draft or FA?

Some team will pay him some excessive money. I don't want to tie a bunch of money up in that position for 4 or 5 years. Murray is 27, but he's had a history of injury and RBs never seem to reach historic seasons back to back. If he's not coming back for a reasonable contract, I'd look at letting him go.

I want Murray back but I just don't see it happening.

He's going to want too much money.

I'm good with rolling with Randal, Dunbar, and Williams next year if that's what Dallas does. I see potential in all three of those guys to give us plays in this offense.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they get AP.

Time to move on, would rather get younger than tie up funds with an aging Murray.

It's got nothing to do with "want" or "don't want." The question is, "how much are you willing to pay, and for how long are you willing to pay it, to have Murray on your team?" In my case, the answers are not much and not long.

As far as replacing him, I'd be perfectly comfortable going into next season with the guys we have on the roster (and PS) already. If a good value shows up in free agency or the draft, by all means grab him.

I want him back, I just don't want to pay what it would cost to keep him.

Honestly don't think they're in bad shape with Randle, Dunbar, and Williams though.

Too many good backs in this draft to not take one and pair with Randle n Williams. I'd take AP or Ingram on the cheap to run behind this Oline too.

There could be a legit reason why Ryan Williams is still on the PS.

Not could be but definitely. There was a lot of injuries early on at that spot for teams around the league and he was not grabbed.

Either they think injuries are still an issue or that he's so bad on special teams, there is no use wasting a spot.

Right now, I don't think he has starting talent. So you better play special teams if you are down the depth chart.

I actually don't want him back. Just not my preference of style. I like backs with lower center of gravity who can make a guy miss. Murray is solid but he's far from great IMO .

And to answer the question, at what cost? I'm iffy handing him a long term contract based on one season.

Franchise for one year? Maybe.

Just don't think he can handle this many touches constantly.

this be crazy. a good mans like murray lead the NFL in hotfooting it up and down the turf and is our leading offensive weapon and his relatively young not like the geezers witten and room and all of the sudden we don't want murray. Mama wakes me from this bad and troubling dream because I dont want to dream it.
